Advantages: Great design, innovative software, long battery life, bright screen, great value. Disadvantages: Some slight compatibility issues but these are minor.

And there again lies another reason why these laptops are great - their value for money. This may sound strange when talking about a near 1.5k laptop - but for a similarly spec'd laptop, you would not get anything near this price.
Finally - the jewel in the crown (as far as I'm concerned). My rather reasonable education discount! I managed to save alot of money when ... ...Considering 3 year cover from apple (Applecare) on this product is somewhere in the region of £250, I was unsure. However, due to my education status they sell it at a mere £58. An absolute bargain in my eyes and definitely worth the money, afterall these are complex machines.
These laptops are absolutely brilliant: they're lightning fast, have great software, a very smart and good looking design, aswell as being great value for money.

...recent firmware upgrade offered by Apple and a smaller program called Bootcamp OS X now includes BIOS support as apossed to just EFI. What does this mean? Well it means you can install other operating systems such as Windows XP (only SP2 atm) and linux distro's such as Fedora Core. Great but I wanted OS X to get way from other operating systems...Well its a welcome addition, especially to professionals, many times professionals would need a second ... ...is as bright as the apple cinema display.
Overall I would say this is excellent value for money as you can run any os with bios support and you get the build quality of apple products, as well as the best os in the world (os x tiger). Now you can finaly dump that old windows box for a much more elagant all in one solution. ...

Dashboard is a sort of heads up display which you invoke by pressing F12, here you can add sticky note widgets, weather widgets and calculator widgets, there are hundreds more available for download.
Expose` enables you at the press of a hotkey to see all ... ...get it you will not regret it.

...can see from the image, Apple have yet again invented something the public want. Its uniqueness is great and especially after the realease of the iPOD's - it only seems right that they brink out one of the PC's. In fact, i hear that apple are going to be bringing out a phone as well but these are just rumours but seriously what's stopping them going further?

*Magnificent 15.4" or 17" widescreen display and you really couldnt ask ... ...great feature is using the apple remote to navigate through your work and lets you choose and play your music from being virtually anywhere in your room. So easy and efficient- Apple have thought of everything you can possibly want in a PC and .....well.......made the ideal PC.

Let me tell you I have had my MacBook Pro for 3 months and it really is brilliant!

I won't go into specifics, I mean there is no discussion the performance level is high and a quality feature like he iSight makes the product very attractive, especially for a laptop where you don't want to attach an external webcam but the best in my opinion is the Intel Core Duo processor because it allows you to run applications like 'Parallels' ... ...Windows operating system image as a virtual machine (Parallels) or install and use Windows softwares and games (CrossOver) seamlessly on the Mac.
The Intel Core Duo simply allows the best of two worlds without rebooting and most importantly without any performance issue.
This machine can run pretty hot but this can be controlled by third party utilities such as smcFanControl so I don't consider this much of a problem .. just thought I mentioned ...
