iPhone, iPod touch and MacBook Air comes to MacBook Pro in an amazing new Multi-Touch trackpad. Now you can pinch, swipe or rotate to enlarge text, advance through photos or adjust an image.\n\nPower duo.\n\nThe new Intel Core 2 Duo processors run at speeds up to 2.6GHz on a groundbreaking 45-nm process technology with up to 6MB L2 cache. And the powerful NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor now includes up to 512MB of video memory. \n\nSupersized display.\n\nConnect an Apple Cinema Display to expand your desktop and lose nothing in translation. That's because the DVI connection gives you a pure digital signal from system to display. View more than 4 million pixels on a 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor.\n\nEven the power cord is a feature.\n\nThe MacBook Pro power adaptor with MagSafe connector is a magnetic connection instead of a physical one. So, if you happen to trip over the power cord, you won't send MacBook Pro flying. The cord simply disconnects, without damage to either the cord or the notebook.\n\nSounds all around.\n\nMacBook Pro sounds as good as it looks, with unprecedented attention to audio detail. For musicians on the go, MacBook Pro offers pristine sound through crisp, clear stereo speakers, a built-in microphone, and optical digital audio on both input and output.\n\nBuilt-in iSight.\n\nStrategically placed in the centre of the MacBook Pro display bezel is a small but powerful iSight camera. Wherever you go, you can video conference with iChat, make a movie with iMovie and experiment in Photo Booth.
AMAZING BEST LAPTOP Review ofApple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo - 17\" TFTby

Advantages: Pretty Damn Good in Every way Disadvantages: Not much of significance
Hello all,
I work at several large computer superstores and have access to them all on a daily basis. I Have not purchased these laptops but I instead work with them in order to bring you the highest quality consumer based reviews. I sometimes ask the opinions of my staff and also of customers to bring you up to speed.
So without further interuption here is my review on the MacBook Pro with 17" display.
DESIGN
The MacBook Pro is one of my favourite ... ...buy one right now. The design is hard to improve and has such stye and elegance. It does sound silly to say this about a laptop but it's true. Not only is it very astetically great it's also functional aswel and is very sturdy. The thing is made from sturdy alluminium and in my opinion this adds to the laptop.
When you open the MBP all you can see is this huge glossy screen. Its breathtakingly good and is very easy to look at.
There is also the ...

Advantages: Very fast for both Mac OS X and Windows Disadvantages: Slightly heavy
...Windows graphics programming. So the Apple MacBook Pro 17" with the Intel Core Duo processor seemed like the ideal combination. To give you an idea of the speed improvements; starting with Video processing, iMovie encodes Quicktime movies to streaming versions for the web in just a few minutes compared with tens of minutes on the PowerBook G4 or Mac Mini G4. Note the speed-up comes because iMovie and other programme ssupplied with the MacBookPro ... ...party packages, commonly used by Apple users, like Microsoft Office and Adobe Flash Studio are still supplied as older PPC applications, so there's no speed up with these programmes. However as this laptop is more powerful than my office desktop I haven't noticed any particular slowness.
I also do quite a bit of programming and I have been more than pleased with the Pro Book's ability to let me recompile a number of open source programs and libraries ...

Advantages: Super wide screen, powerful CPU, good design Disadvantages: keyboard could be bigger
...Appartently according to web sources, Apple are working on these for when BootCamp is released. The wide 17" screen is clear, crisp and great, especially for business users as it allows two documents to be opened side by side and be able to read both clearly, as well as large spreadsheets. The battery life is good, at over two hours on a medium brightness display, if you drop the brightness down, it will go to about 2.5 hours. The machine runs just ... ...for long periods with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, whcih is also good. I will rap it up here, so to sum up: Great laptop, packed full of features, looks great!! I would give this 10/10 for the business user and same for the home user, as the remote used in MAC OS X, turns it into a media center, letting you play CDs/DVDs, iTunes and control it through the remote. All the best, Jinxx1 ...

Advantages: Dual Core, 2Gb Memory, Dual Layer DVD Rwriter Disadvantages: Battery Life
Well where do i start with this product there is so many positives about this product and not many negatives. I am going to start with the negative points first. Negatives:
(1) The Cost this may put off people from buying because it is out of their price range.
(2) The battery life doesn\'t seem to be very good needs charging often which may put off the business customers. (3) Not enough usb ports, this is a real downside to a excellent product ... ...requires a usb connection and this laptop doesn\'t offer that i don\'t feel 3 ports is enough considering most people connect external hard drive, wireless routers, wireless dongles, and printers as well as external memory card readers. Now lets see the positives this laptop gives to it customers:
(1) Design of the laptop was just one of many appealing factors that made me choose this laptop, it is sleek and slim very light compared to some laptops ...

Advantages: Powerful Core 2 Duo processor, large screen Disadvantages: Chunky, not really value for money
The Macbook pro is basically a standard increase on your average Macbook, it offers a souped-up Core 2 Duo processer running at 2.33 Ghz, a definite level up from the older versions 2 Ghz running speed. There is more hard drive there, and more RAM for your money. But is it completely necessary to pay a substantial amount more than the average Macbook? I had one of these installed in my household not long ago, and I must say it was impressive and ... ...it would make a good online gaming high spec laptop, but its not, its a Mac and therefore its a bit odd to have all this power for something that is internationally recognised as a better office/business tool than a PC but nowhere near as accomplished on the gaming front. Having said that it does come with all the regular tools of a macbook, and yes it does handle more operations at once faster, which is potentially a good thing if you're trying ...
