Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, scratches easily, Compatibility with some software

INTRO Being a Microsoft Windows user for the past 12 years, I never thought I'd buy myself an Apple Mac but after caving in a buying an Apple iPhone, and with the many recommendations from friends and acquaintances raving about Apple and how great Macs are (plus a test drive of the Mac OS on friend's and Macs in-store), I ordered myself a 13.3" MacBook Pro (2.53GHz, 4GB, 250GB HDD version). DESIGN First impression is that the MacBook Pro is a gorgeous piece of kit. The chassis feels very sturdy. The screen appears to be covered with a pane of glass and is quite easy on the eyes but when ... more

It is an amazing laptop that offers alot of technology but it comes with a cost. In recent days Apple Macbooks have established the name because of their looks. People who like to show off will this product but this is am amazing system. Specifications: This laptop has amazing technology. I was quite amazed to see this system. Amazingly fast especially with OS, it will be much faster than any other laptop running on Vista, as Vista requires 1 GB of RAM just to run it. Graphics: The graphics will be amazing with that beast NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. Of course then RAM is also going to help the ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, many softwares are not supported for this computer (Photoshop, 3Ds Max...)

This machine is just.. GREAT ! To start with, this is one of the most popular laptops in the market (And the most popular Mac ;). And for me, this is the best computer you can get now ! To be honest, I was a bit afraid -before I bought it- that I would find many difficulties in coping with the hole new Operating System (Mac OS X), but it's a matter of minutes to get used to it =) ! the loveliest thing about this Mac, is the design; it's elegant, beautiful and most importantly, light ! But when you look deeper inside it... When all of this becomes more usual to you (Well, to me actually ;) ... more

    Advantages Advantages cool and competent

Disadvantages Disadvantages not exactly value for money

After many years of hesitation, I finally decided to spend my hard earned cash of this bad boy. I even received a FREE ipod touch! For me it was a very hard decision to switch from Windows to Mac. Primarily due to cost, software compatibility and general use. However, in my opinion, this model is definitely an improvement from its predecessor as this 'Pro' model now has SD card slot, better memory and speed, firewire, a better battery, standard backlit keyboard and costs cheaper. I found the OS operating system a bit difficult to use at first as I have been using Windows for over 10 years (and ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price

I bought my macbook pro 6 months ago after deciding to move from windows based laptops and couldn't be happier with my decision, first off the build quality is unmatched made from aluminum there is no flex or give when picking it up even the screen is made from glass so no more of the colors running if you accidentally press the screen like on normal laptops. The software (osx) is designed by apple themselves so everything just works i have yet to have a program crash that's how reliable it is, the technology behind it is even more impressive it uses the new ddr3 ram (8gb max 4gb standard) and ... more
