Advantages Multi touch function

Disadvantages Quite pricey

After buying the new iMac I received the wireless magic mouse as part of the product. I can tell you that it is such a great gadget, I have had no hassle with it what so ever and after a few days of getting to grips with the new finger motions I found it incredibly easy to work with, making browsing the internet easier and more enjoyable. The mouse in my opinion fits great in the palm of your hand and is just the right size and weight. It glides across almost any surface and with the new laser built into the bottom, the mouse is able to pick up movement on many surfaces from my carpet to a wooden table top. The design is also great, it looks very sleek and stylish and also quite delicate. But I can tell you that after owning mine for 3 months with heavy use, there is absolutely no wear or tear.

It connects wirelessly to the computer via bluetooth, I have never experienced any delay or loss of connection, not even when the battery starts to get low. Ion my experience the batteries last for around about 3 months before needing to replace them. A message will come up on the screen warning you of this, so its not like it just cuts out or anything which is really good. The new multi touch functions include a right swipe to go forward a page, left swipe to go back a page, double finger swipe to return to the desktop and then of course the up and down finger slides to scroll the page. As I said before, after a few days of getting use to it, your able to save a lot of time whilst surfing the internet.

The size of mine from measuring is around 11.5 cm long, 5.5 cm wide and 1.5 cm tall. If you want the exact measurements just head over to the apple website where i am sure they will have them. Now time for the price, this is probably the only fault I can find with this product. I love using it and its works great however it does cost around the £40 mark depending on where you buy from. It is worth it in my opinion, but there are other good wireless mouses out there for less, but with an apple computer you need the apple mouse, its just how it goes i suppose. Overall a really good gadget which could be used with an apple laptop, making laptop internet surfing easier as well.
