WOW, I have just been given one of these babies to play with - through work. THEY ARE AMAZING

I'm not going to spend time introducing you to MAC OS (Apple's Windows) - but if you are a PC user it's like this: Its quite similar to windows but more user friendly & powerful! (Get the picture)

If you have money to burn then this is the ultimate choice. Its just great for online/offline gaming, it is capable of doing amazing things with sound and graphics.

Movie editing, music mixing - this can do it all. Its a weapon of mass perfection!

Your better off with an i-book if its just wordporcessing and surfing you are after.

The resolution of the display is great. Real DVD quality with smooth scrolling - better than my desktop monitor.

The standard battery has been lasting me about 5 hours, which is great for a demanding laptop. I'm wearly of Apples batteries though, they seem to discharge overnight - and need replacing annualy.

This is a bigger and better version of apples laptop family, it will last you for years before you'll need to consider upgrading.

Dont be scared about the switch to an Apple - they still run most of your PC favourites - and they are after all a status symbol!!
