The powerbook line has been around for almost a decade now and each new installment has brought around something better than the last. This new G4 is no different. With a faster processor, more memory, and better graphics, the Powerbook G4 is the new fad in college age kids as well as executives. Lets take a look at the Powerbook G4 under the hood.

The Powerbook G4 (PBG4) has great specifications, including:

-1.25 ghz G4 processor. This is a top of the line Apple processor, comparable to a 3 ghz P4 or higher. This gives the computer enough speed to do anything from checking your email to making a short film on your computer with no hassles or waiting around. Everything is done in the blink of an eye.

-512 mb DDR SDRAM. This RAM directly assists your processor in opening and storing data. This RAM is considered to be one of the fastest on the market. If you are doing any high-end graphics work or any kind of hardcore gaming then you might want to think about an upgrade to 1028 mb or so. The 512 mb is fine for most daily tasks though.

-80 gb hard drive. The 80gb hard drive is big enough to hold any kind of data that you need to keep. Many games and programs only take up .01% of that memory so you will really have more than you will ever need.

-CD-RW/DVD-R Drive. Will play and burn cd-r's, cd-rw's, dvd-r's and dvd-rw's. Gives you added storage space and you can play all your music and movies on your computer. Very nice cd and dvd burner as well.

-64mb Radeon 9600 graphics card. Provides stunning graphics that will amaze even the biggest technowizard and makes everything look amazing.

-Airport ready. You can connect to your existing wireless internet network in a snap with lightning fast speed.

This computer is an all in one package for the student, the executive, or the graphics artist. The easy Mac OS X makes it simple for even the novice to get up and running in just a few minutes and computer guru's can spend years exploring all the computer's features without coming across something twice. The computer has lots of room for upgrades but even without them you will have more computing power than you will ever need.

The Powerbook G4 comes with lots of great accessories such as printers, scanners, and mp3 players. In this case, this computer has been upgraded to the extreme and jam packed with everything you could dream of.
