Given its many advanced capabilities, you'll probably be surprised to find that working with the Apple QuickTake 200 is strikingly similar to using your favorite traditional camera. But this sophisticated device offers many more ways of communicating with images. In fact, this high-performance digital camera provides a wealth of flexible, versatile options for sharing your images with others, such as slide shows, presentations, television viewings, real-time videoconferencing, and even live Internet transmissions. And this advanced digital camera features an extremely compact, lightweight design that makes it easy to take with you virtually anywhere you want to go. The QuickTake 200 provides an integrated LCD display that enables you to preview each potential picture easily and accurately. But the real fun of taking pictures lies in sharing them with others - an area in which the QuickTake 200 truly shines. Perhaps the most appealing quality of the QuickTake 200 is that it provides a complete solution for an entire range of digital imaging functionality. It even comes with a video cable-so, for example, you can use it to show relatives your latest vacation pictures right on their television screen (NTSC system only). And the versatile image-capture capabilities of the QuickTake 200 make it an ideal tool to add images to your Internet website. In short, Apple's QuickTake 200 digital camera complements your Mac OS-based computer by offering a wide range of incredibly easy and enjoyable ways to communicate your ideas visually.

...The connector that I use to access my apple ipod via my computer is the USB 2.0 data cable.
This small and inconspicuous lead in my opinion is invaluable. Not only does it allow ease of connection to your computer, but it is a cable that most computers accept. I prefer this wire to the one with the firewire connector as it allows me to go and connect to most computer be it a Mac or a PC.
The connection is quick with it being a USB device and this allows me transfer files, be them into i-tunes or in the mass storage that I have.
This wire is also a life saver if i need to charge my ipod as sometimes I do not have the plug. This cable allows you to charge your ipod through any USB connection.
This is a must have for anyone who uses there ipod at work or at home and in my opinion having a couple is a good idea....

...light conditions, even almost total darkness that turns the image into an almost infrared image. Sound recording quality is exceptional for such a small inconspicuous microphone. The camera is very lightweight, sits in the hand well and all the buttons are easy to operate even with the camera running. the steaycam does a very good job of minimising the little bumps that come with trying to follow a 6 month old roll around the floor!
I have also discovered that when hooked up to an Apple Macintosh computer the camera operates as an effective web cam without the need for any other software.
Digital photographs taken with the camera are as good as any other 3 mega pixel camera on the market.
I would Highly recommend this product, search the web though as I got almost £200 off the Sony listed recommended price!

Need a spare cable? Review ofApple iPod Dock Connector To USB 2.0 Data cableby
free_peace_sweet
Advantages: Works just as the orginial cable shipped with iPod - Great Spare/Replacement Disadvantages: Can be costly if purchased from Apple
...Apple iPod data cable is not an essential purchase as any iPod you buy comes with one with the exception of the shuffle.
However should you find yours broken or wanting an extra cable this is for you.
The cable is identical to the one shipped with your original ipod both in apperance and length. It comes with a locking dock connecter at one side and a USB connector on the other. The cable is designed to allow you to transfer your data to and from your PC/Mac or to charge the ipod itself .
I boughtone of these as spare as they were available for $5. I now have one at work for those emergency charges - and one connected to my universal dock at home.
I own generic cables for the iPod and this cable has no advantage apart from the locking connector on the dock side. This cable can cost more than generic ones....

Reading a Book is not usually my favorite pass time, but when I was brought the Steve Wozniaks biography 'I Woz' I could not put it down.
On first impressions I thought the book would be all about how he invented the 'APPLE-1' noteably the first ever more
This unit follows the clean simple design of the ipod perfectly. Such a simple design yet I wouldn\'t want to be without it now.
The dock is very solidly built with a weighted base so the it stays in place and doesn\'t fall over when the ipod is sitting more
