Advantages: All in one super fast PC for those lacking space Disadvantages: lack of ability to change parts, can only upgrade the RAM. price tag i suppose.
...Finally I have almost paid back this mac on the apple finance 6 month interest free MBNA deal and I have to say I love this mac! If i didn't had a girlfriend, i would take this to bed with me to keep me warm! this originally cost me £1200 from apple but you can buy refurbished ones from the apple.com/uk site under the store. i bought the apple care extended warranty but my feeling is i never will have to apple things rarely break down.
It is almost as sexy dare I say. LOL. if anybody wanted a computer with a superfast brain in an all in one kit then this is it. It is a flatscreen with a helluva lot of power stuffed inside it. the Intel core duo 2.16ghz cpu is super fast and the 16.9 screen is a marvellous addition. This is the quietest machine i have ever seen. I got the fright of my life one night when i left the machine turned...

Advantages: Tiny, fast, wireless networking and sexy design Disadvantages: None
...I have had my iBook for over 6 months now, and I have never regretted the purchase. I do all my work, internet surfing and play on the thing.
Apple have just recently come up with a new ibook, which sports all of these amazing features:
500 Mhz g3 Processor - Roughly equal to a 750 PIII
Tiny, ice-white rugged design
12.1" XGA screen
CD/CDR/DVD or CDR and DVD combo drives available
option wireless networking
Mirroring to Monitor or TV
Firewire port - edit your digital videos
Built in Networking
And All this for only 1200 pounds!
I know that the screen is not that large, but believe me, it is the best quality, and helps to make the'book TINY.
Unless you want the ultimate in speed (Then you should get the Powerbook G4) - whoever you are and whatever you do, this is the laptop for you....

Advantages: small, good looking, OSX operating system, good battery life Disadvantages: quite slow, for some the fact that it is an apple
...The ibook was my first real experience with applecomputers - I'm a student who is not interested in computers, but likes to have all the functions a computer can perform. Previously I had owned a 'time' computer - so appallingly unreliable I decided to get rid of it after a year.
In all honesty, the best advice I can give to anyone considering purchasing an ibook is "try it". I borrowed a friend's ibook for a day and simply fell in love with the computer. Easy to use, small, light and well designed, I have little criticism.
Briefly, the spec of my machine is as follows:
Apple ibook,
Screen: 12"
hd: 60gb
memory: 384mb
OSX operating system ]
Wireless base station and card
COST: all for around £1200
Despite the fact that the machine is white, the computer is very durable, as the white is coated in a layer of clear plastic which hides...

Reading a Book is not usually my favorite pass time, but when I was brought the Steve Wozniaks biography 'I Woz' I could not put it down.
On first impressions I thought the book would be all about how he invented the 'APPLE-1' noteably the first ever more
This unit follows the clean simple design of the ipod perfectly. Such a simple design yet I wouldn\'t want to be without it now.
The dock is very solidly built with a weighted base so the it stays in place and doesn\'t fall over when the ipod is sitting more
