A Tail-less Mouse
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
This little mouse is perfectly white and smooth. I suspect he is blind as he never winces when I have a setback and reach for my carving knife. He sits there perfectly still but is always reactive when I move him around on his little pad.
He has no tail tucked between his legs. His tail is redundant because he has ... ...vicinity like the very beautiful Apple Keyboard just nearby, mobile phones or remote control toys.
A Smooth Operator

Paddy the mouse is a smooth touch. His back is a nice rounded shape and he is happy for you to put dry or sweaty paws on him and move him around. He can be used by hands big and small and is equally suitable for left and right handed folk. He glides on his mat with ease but doesn't ever ... more
Hello, let me introduce myself. I am Mrs Farmer Giles and I am a dab hand with a carving knife. Before you run away in terror, please allow me to explain that I am a reformed character and time has moved on since Three Blind Mice. I am a thoroughly modern Farmer's wife now. Whilst Mr Giles is busy plucking birds for Christmas in the barn, I am buying him a nice pair of new wellies on the Internet all with the aid of my little white tail-less mouse.
His name is Paddy.
Paddy is a friendly little mouse and he is as good as gold. He is called Paddy because he is always to be found curled up on his soft mouse pad rug.
In my reformation period Mr Giles was at his wits end. Whenever he let me loose on his PC, I found myself carving knife in hand and chopping the tail of any mouse that tried to run away. I got through a dozen mice at least until a farmer friend told us about the tail-less mouse called an Apple Wireless. Perfect.
A Tail-less Mouse ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* This little mouse is perfectly white and smooth. I suspect he is blind as he never winces when I have a setback and reach for my carving knife. He sits there perfectly still but is always reactive when I move him around on his little pad.
He has no tail tucked between his legs. His tail is redundant because he has intelligent Bluetooth Adoptive Frequency Hopping software inside his body which helps to avoid frequencies used by other wireless devices and networks in his vicinity like the very beautiful Apple Keyboard just nearby, mobile phones or remote control toys.
A Smooth Operator ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Paddy the mouse is a smooth touch. His back is a nice rounded shape and he is happy for you to put dry or sweaty paws on him and move him around. He can be used by hands big and small and is equally suitable for left and right handed folk. He glides on his mat with ease but doesn't ever run away with himself. His smooth oval body is white covered with a clear plastic coat which makes cleaning him a breeze.
He also has a lovely apple shaped tattoo marking in the centre of his back.
On his bottom is a gliding switch which turns him on and off. He has a lovely red glowing light to show that he is turned on. When he sleeps, the gliding switch turns off this light with a simple flick. Around his underside is an oval grey smooth ridge which helps him to move around without slipping. He also has a little flickety switch button which gives ease of access into his insides. This is where he stores his energy in the form of 2 AA batteries. He is a little greedy, moderate use means that he gets through a couple of batteries every 3 months. When he is getting low on energy, a warning is displayed on the Mac screen. You should heed this warning or you may ultimately lose some work through power loss.
He Has No Balls ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Paddy has no balls to roll around and gather dust. Instead he has an optical tracking engine which means that he can be used on most surfaces. He can run around on your leg if you wish but he works best on a desk top or mouse pad. He can even operate from a distance of 10m. He also automatically switches to low power mode when not in use. I find it best to switch him off completely when he sleeps as this preserves his energy source.
One thing to note about this wireless mouse is that it has just one button and can be clicked anywhere on the body to obtain a response on screen. Unlike mice that work with Microsoft, there is no left and right click button on the body of the mouse. Using the mouse is easy and apart from an initial, sometimes sluggish response to move the cusor around the screen when you first switch the mouse on, it is thereafter highly responsive and easy to use.
This lovely sleek little tail-less mouse can be used with any Apple Mac OS X, version 10.2.6 or higher. The inbuilt Bluetooth technology is easily paired with the Apple iMac (desktop) or Mac Book (lap top).
Recommend? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ This mouse is responsive and easy to use. It looks and feels stylish but is more expensive than a similar corded mouse. For a clutter free desktop I would recommend it highly.
Summary of features ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Wireless Bluetooth interface 1 click button On/off power switch Battery use - 2 AA Movement Detection technology - Optical Operating System requirement - Apple Mac OS X, version 10.2.6 or higher.

Advantages: 360 scroll function, compact, ease of use Disadvantages: hassle installation, bit pricey
Aesthetics - The look and feel is a basically a replica of a normal Apple Wired Mighty Mouse. However, the weight of it is a bit heavier than the wired one because of the battery insertion.
When I got this mouse from the Apple store, I thought the price was a bit expensive compared to the other wirelessmouse. However, I bought this mouse because of the apple brand and it's beautiful aesthetics.
After I unpacked it and analysed the mouse, i had no idea where the battery was sposed to go in.
(NB battery comes with the product which is really useful)
I thought that this mouse was the kind of mouse that doesn't need instruction leaflet however, i had to read it. After, i found out how the battery is fitted, i tried to take the mouse apart however, it was not easy. I had to use some kind of extra piece of equipment to open it.

Advantages: Almost brilliant design, looks great. Disadvantages: Expensive, limited programming for buttons.
(This review is written having tested the hardware on Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista)
This year, I purchased my first Apple computer. Deciding to go for the iMac, an all-in-one desktop computer.
From their website, Apple include either the wired or wireless Mighty Mouse with the purchase, the Wireless option being a £13.99 upgrade option, but no option to get the computer without the mouse.
Because I have so many computer mice lying around, I was torn between selling the default (wired) Mighty Mouse when the computer arrived, or upgrading to the Wireless option and keeping it, I have far too many cables for electronics to want to add more wires, so I decided I would purchase all of the wireless options with the iMac, but paying extra money for something I didn't particularly need was a nuisance.
In the end, I decided that ...
Advantages: fantastic features, works seamlessly with mac, you get what you pay for! Disadvantages: not for the low budget but id highly advise!
The apple mighty mouse is the best mouse on the market for any user never mind mac. It has touch sensitive technology, which means despite its design of having one large button with a scroll wheel, your mouse knows when you left and right click.. like magic! and its syncs just by the flick of a switch on the mouse in under 5 seconds everytime!
It is plug and play, i have to admit i was a little put off by the price tag, but it was well worth it. Its packed with features, with a mac and the new OS is it is a must have you can use the the side buttons on the mouse to control your spaces and flick between windows with out fiddly minimizing, the scroll wheel is also another programable click, on my laptop it brings up all the gadgets over my workspace so i can use the calculator and datebook etc. all of these different clicks are fully ...
