Advantages ease of use-lots of info-download section
Disadvantages prices-person to person help

Right now I am looking at buying the new iPod Touch. Obviously the first place I looked was on the Apple site. Whilst I was on there I was just having a looking around, and checking out the website. The Apple website does have many advantages over the shops. For starters, you have the option to engrave your iPod/ iPhone with whatever message you want (providing its within the limit). Other advantages include the online support, downloads and product info. The major difference between the online website and in store is that the staff (which are very helpful) are obviously not online to meet you. In the store, if you have any questions, the staff will gladly help.On the whole the appearance is very good. I like the idea of the grey and white theme which links in with the logo.I also like the way in which the main sections are kept at the top of the page. This makes the wesbite much easier to navigate around.
The only disadvantage which does tend to be quite a major drawback is the fact that the prices are a lot better elsewhere (ebay or amazon). For example, the new iPod Touch (8gb) can be bought for £165 delivered through www.apple.com/uk. On Amazon marketplace, it can currently be bought at around £144. Quite a big difference I think. So overall, the apple UK website is very easy to use and very helpful to. The only drawbacks is that there is no people to speak to immediately. The prices can also be a problem with some items.
