iMac is, quite simply, an outrageously attractive, surprisingly affordable, and extraordinarily easy-to-set-up-and-use system. It comes fully loaded, but brings along none of the hassle you might associate with the word "computer". Get ready for the excitement of swift, simple Internet access - your passport to a world of information. And playing so richly detailed game, you actually feel like you are in another world. Consider the fact that iMac delivers significantly more power than you would expect from a computer at such a great price. Whether you are a first-time computer user or a highly experienced one, iMac, with its powerful, state-of-the-art features and simplicity of setup and operation, is the ideal choice. It will let you do the things you want to do with a computer, and many things you may only have dreamt about.

...I, for one, cannot quite understand how apple macintosh have managed to stay in business, when seventy percent of the computers around the world are pc's compatible with microsoft software. I originally had an apple macintosh in 1991, and found immediately that this was the essential problem, for example, when wanting to save project work on to my disk and then use a friend's computer, this did not work. However, the apple software is generally comprehensive and serves to make one's computiongh experience worthwhile. I would recommend a normal pc though....

Advantages: er.........they come in different colours Disadvantages: where shall I start?
...I can't believe anyone would want to buy a computer because it "looks nice" well to me they look like a joke and they are a joke. You don't even get a floppy disk drive, and because unlike PC's they are not open architecture, they can be upgraded. The fastest apple at the momment is 400mhz, it costs about £1500 well PCs are clocking 900mhz and for £500 you can get 600mhzPC and people say mac's are faster?
There is nothing good about them, they are for people who probably don't want to use microsoft products for some reason. These are very expensive toys....

Advantages: Speed, It's an Apple Disadvantages: None
...Well, what can anyone really say about the iMac?
i) It is a reliable, useful, speedy machine.
ii) It is excellent if you want a simple machine for home use.
iii) The best thing about it is that it is a applemac!
Steve Jobs certainly knows what he is doing when it comes to designing a computer!
The Apple is the best computer on Earth in the case of simplicity! To set up all you do is unpack and plug in! That's it! No messing, no fuss! Simple!
Well done apple!...

There's a particular episode of the Simpsons I like very much, it's where Homer [a safety officer in a nuclear power plant] gets head-hunted by another company. Everything seems great, great job, great pay, great benefits and a cuddly "call me Dave"... more
