    Advantages Advantages Design, Manufactures Support

Disadvantages Disadvantages Crashes sometimes, hard to use, very expensive.

Overview Many of my relatives and friends, who actually own an iMac, always tell me about the beauty of it, and how amazing it is. However, this is not the case, yes I agree with the fact that the iMac runs smoothly however the operating system is nowhere as good as Windows. This may be because I have always used windows and never used the MacOS, but whatever the case is, I actually regret buying this product as any PC with window is my favourite choice. Nevertheless, I can never say that I don't try new things:P Even if it cost me £1000, yes the iMac cost around £900-£1000. All apple products ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to set up, brilliant graphics, quality build

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None at all

Well I have waited a month before reviewing my iMac, let me tell you the story, First I purchase an iPhone, then an Ipad , these purchases started my Apple journey that as lead to the purchase of this IMac, so impressed was I with the quality, design and simplicity of the iPhone and Ipad, the Imac was the nest logical step, But as a 15 year user of Windows PC's you can imagine the amount of data I had created on the windows operating system!!! this really did put me off buying the imac as the new imac would be at the heart of my network of two Windows PC's and a network storage drive, over the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Speed, Display, Memory

Disadvantages Disadvantages Size and Screen Resolution can pose problems.

To begin with - I think that the answer to the question is definitely yes. At this moment in time the Mac OS is far better than Windows 7 or Vista and the computers on offer are far superior. What I am most impressed by with the iMac is it's speed. It is stunningly fast. The display is crystal clear and everything is simple as with most Apple devices. I think that it can definitely reinvigorate your desktop PC experience. For most people speed and memory are the key factors behind choosing a PC and the iMac has these in abundance with 1TB of diskspace available as well as 4GB of RAM. If ... more

4 Stars Attractive Device, A Few Drawbacks Review with images 01/04/2012
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Large, attractive screen, no tower, multiple USB ports, fast, nice keyboard and mouse design

Disadvantages Disadvantages Somewhat flimsy/unreliable disc drive and USB ports, not always user friendly

I've had this device for about 6 months now. It is certainly an attractive item. The towerless design is great, yet its speed doesn't suffer in the slightest. The mouse and keyboard accessories are well constructed. The monitor is nice and large, great for people who need larger text settings, or simply enjoy a high resolution experience. It has 5 USB ports which is nice, but they can be finicky with some devices. For that reason I prefer to use my PC for my art tablet and other devices that require a sensitive and precise USB connection. The disk drive works, but after a few months of use it ... more

Advantages Advantages Pretty, All in One, Inte's Sandy Bridge technology

Disadvantages Disadvantages set up on random hardware with random cooling techniques in even more random space

I had the 'pleasure' to use this system with quite a bit of its features for over a year now (school 'studio'). First of all, as a hybrid of both Mac OS X and Windows, finally as a Mac OS X only system. It is one of the slowest, hottest (temerature-wise!) and useless machines ever assembled. I have been using windows for ~10 years and I honestly don't see one positive thing about Macs when compared, all you get is limited access to applications and games really. But, lets organise this thing into some sensible report, starting off with the hardware; Straight from Apple's Site: http://store ... more
