Attractive Device, A Few Drawbacks Review with images 9 of 11 Ciao Users found the following review helpful
Rating from felidsentry 4 Stars ()

Advantages Large, attractive screen, no tower, multiple USB ports, fast, nice keyboard and mouse design

Disadvantages Somewhat flimsy/unreliable disc drive and USB ports, not always user friendly

I've had this device for about 6 months now. It is certainly an attractive item. The towerless design is great, yet its speed doesn't suffer in the slightest. The mouse and keyboard accessories are well constructed. The monitor is nice and large, great for people who need larger text settings, or simply enjoy a high resolution experience. It has 5 USB ports which is nice, but they can be finicky with some devices. For that reason I prefer to use my PC for my art tablet and other devices that require a sensitive and precise USB connection. The disk drive works, but after a few months of use it has become a bit louder when it is being used.

It has a steep learning curve for someone who has no experience with Macintosh products, and even a few months in I had a lot of confusion regarding uninstallation and the general organization of the system, despite having a very firm grip on advanced PC use. After you get used to it, many features are very convenient though. It has a lot of memory. Even with a large amount of installed programs it still functions as fast as day 1. Startup is much faster than a PC. A few seconds and it is ready to use, where my PC takes a couple of minutes.

I did not pay full price for this item, and I can honestly say I wouldn't purchase it at full price today. This is a nice device, but for the cost it would have to be more suited to my needs as an artist and student and have more well-constructed features in order for the price to be justified.

Hey :) To get a VH rating (if you care) you could add details about price, the look of the machine, how easy setup is and so on.
