I got my iPad 2 for about 600 USD last year in the local Apple Distributor , Power Mac. In my opinion, the iPad 2 is a good buy! I don't always have to carry my laptop with me now. I just had to... more

Advantages Advantages Looks good, light and easy to carry, functional, starts up quickly

Disadvantages Disadvantages Concerns over build quality, poor camera, software glitches can be annoying

I have never been a huge advocate of Apple products although I must be honest here and say the huge price tags attached to many of their laptop and desktop computers has something to do with that. However I do have reservations about the closed system they use and, if I am honest, dislike just how big they have become in recent times. I've owned an iPod Touch for a few years now and one of the things I love about it is its ability to work as a media player and a tool for surfing the web. When Apple announced the launch of the iPad I was intrigued as it struck me as being like a larger version ... more

Advantages Advantages Great design; sounds great with through headphones and speakers; powerful; easy to use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Somewhat dated interface; poor battery life; cameras; not much different from other iOS devices.

Nowadays, buying an Apple product such as the iPad comes down to whether you are against the company or not. The company used to be well-respected by many but has now gone downhill in terms of its reputation, with high pricing and lack of innovation being used as arguments against it. As such, not everyone will buy the iPad 2 after being told it’s a good product. I can recommend it, however, to anyone who, a) doesn’t absolutely hate Apple, and b) can afford it. The iPad 2 has its shares of flaws and doesn’t outweigh the competition but it should be one of your first choices if you’re buying a ... more

Advantages Advantages So lightweight, Great Design, Incredibly Fast, Easy to use, Brilliant Battery life

Disadvantages Disadvantages Its a bit on the pricey side

My friend recently bought an Ipad and after a few days of being the extremely pleasant and simply the bestest best friend ever to her in the whole wide world…she let me borrow it for a few days! Quite a few of my friends had got an Ipad and all of them said that I should get one because it’s fantastic. I was going to buy one straight away, but when my friend said that I could borrow it, I thought that I might as well try before I buy. Features The Ipad2 is the newest version of the Ipad and this 32GB version is the one with the 2nd highest storage space, there are also 16GB and 64GB versions ... more

Advantages Advantages It's an Apple device, that's all you need to know

Disadvantages Disadvantages Used mainly by unlikeable people

Besides from sounding like a dual-layer, 6 droplet rated lady's sanitary towel with wings, and being as portable as a heaving a dead rat around in your trouser pocket, the iPad 2 is actually a very good device to use. My wife has one, and has used it as a reason to mock me and remind me of my lack of tablet based computing until I got my Sony Tablet S. I can't blame her, because the machine itself is very easy to use, fast, responsive, and the Apple name tag makes its owners turn into rude, fart sniffing members of society. It is basically an oversized iPod Touch, with a higher price tag to go ... more

Advantages Advantages Possibly the best tablet on the market, excellent screen, apps, cheaper

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life, lack of flash support

I'm sure the vast majority of those buying an iPad 2 will be very pleased with it. For the most part it lives up to the hype and is a very seductive piece of kit. After downloading iTunes onto the computer and registering, setting up the iPad is a doddle as it's simply a case of connecting it to the computer and the automatic 'synching' process does the rest. Connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi with my 'N' router was as easy as entering the password and I have to say the response time of the Safari web browser was very impressive, with pages loading very quickly making web browsing a joy. The ... more
