Advantages light, clear display of images, never ending list of features, slips in my handbag

Disadvantages I wish we had more wifi so that it worked online everywhere

I don't know how I managed before I started using an iPad

I run my own craft business in Ireland. While I sell my products directly, I also sell them via several shops across the county and one across in Cork.

My crafts can be anything from a small childs apron to a very large, very cumbersome but very attractive quilt cover. I sell over 100 different products and so when I visit the shops I can only get so many products in my car (or in a bag if I am not driving).

When I came across the iPad I was amazed at just how easily I could use it. But I bought it initially so that I was always able to see my email so that I could answer any customer queries. Which was also very easy to setup and very easy to use. Then I discover the Photos section. Wow!

Now I take photographs with my digital camera (a lovely little Sony Cybershot), copy them to my PC and then to my iPad. Now when I visit my shops, I can show them the whole range of products not just the ones that I can manage to carry. I just wipe my hand across the screen and product after product appears. Wonderful!!

But the iPad doesn't stop there it has so much more to offer. I use it for email as I said, managing my website, all my contacts, i recently started using twitter and I tweet from here, my facebook page I can manage from the iPad, and I recently discovered ht ebook reader and how I can read the newspaper. It's a real jot.

I had always thought that I would be the last person that would use an iPad, but since starting my business I have realised just how important all this technology is, a far cry from the arts and crafts that I deal with daily.

If you need a portable computer that seems to have an endless supply od different applications, is so easy to use and helps in business and pleasure then the Apple iPad is a must. I really love to tell people about products that I have found very useful to me. SO I hope you find this useful to read.
