Advantages Advantages multi functioned and arguably the best tablet there is

I'm showing my age a little when I say that I can remember a time before the internet when computers that could do very little were the size of a room. I am, then, bedazzled by what modern technology can offer, no more so than by the i-Pad 3 which was my first foray into the world of tablets and which I got on release day. It's taken me a while of owning it to work out what its full potential and what I will actually, on a day by day level, do with it. Hopefully my experience will help you decide if you need one - though in all fairness with this product it's more about "want" than "need"; put ... more

The Apple iPad... Revolutionary or just another fad? My answer to this, It may be different to other people's opinions but my answer is the Apple iPad is a revolutionary device which is just going to continue to grow... To go into why I say this in more detail lets consider a few things. The iPad is a tablet PC which features the famous multi-touch screen we have seen proudly placed upon the iPhone and iPod Touch devices. The release of this huge 9.7" tablet device was on April 3rd,2010 and since then there has been 15 million units sold worldwide. Thats almost 1/3 of England's population! Why ... more

Advantages Advantages Size, capabilities, utter "gadgetness"

Disadvantages Disadvantages Having to pay for Internet when not connected to Wii Fii, Price is quite high as a new product

I recently bought an IPad for my husband as he had been desperate for one and was laid up at home following an accident. It cost £599 (The 32 GB Version) with 3G roaming which I thought was a little steep. However, it was well worth it!! Applications include daily newspapers from all over the world, a full catalogue of Marvel comics and a library where you and buy and store you own books. All of which you can read by turning the pages using a flick of your finger across the screen!! There are a lot of free apps which I was suprised at with the product being so new. However, most of them are ... more

Advantages Advantages small, light, easy to use, superb battery life, feels good

Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive, bound to iTunes for activation

****iPhone users advice**** Please deactivate syn apps when unit is plugged in as otherwise all applications (especially iPhone only apps) will be copied onto the iPad which doesn't look good Two weeks ago I bought the iPad 32GB with WiFi only as I intend to use this device instead of my laptop at home whenever I can. The content of the box ------------------------------ Solid but not outstanding - iPad - 10W charger that can charge iPhones and iPods etc. as well (quite short cord as with all other chargers) - manuals Unfortunately there is no headset which in my opinion would have been a nice ... more

on perchacing the ipad i had a rough idea of what to expect and what i wanted to use it for, i already own an ipod touch and the interface is very similar. personally i found that this ipad is very good for watching movies and playing games, both are freely avaiable through the app store, some games that were available on the ipod have been adapted for ipad and are exteremlely fun to play which is why i think that the ipad will become an important gaming platform in the neer future as the acceleromer controls make for great gameplay particularly on racing games. the screen on the ipad is ... more
