I recently bought an IPad for my husband as he had been desperate for one and was laid up at home following an accident. It cost £599 (The 32 GB Version) with 3G roaming which I thought was a little steep. However, it was well worth it!!

Applications include daily newspapers from all over the world, a full catalogue of Marvel comics and a library where you and buy and store you own books. All of which you can read by turning the pages using a flick of your finger across the screen!!

There are a lot of free apps which I was suprised at with the product being so new. However, most of them are pre-existing I-Phone apps that have been transferred over.

The I-Pad is suitable for anyone already in love with the I-Phone, it has a lot of the same capacbilities (and more) but is much easier to use due to its increased size.

Apps are now also made exclusively for the IPad meaning that there don't seem to be any issues with using apps that you have previously used on your IPhone. You can also transfer over all of the music from your I Tunes.

You can also download and watch full length films on the I-Pad. The screen is just the right size meaning that you can download at home connected to your Wii Fii and then watch whilst our of the house.

The only major downside is the fact that you must sign up for internet through 02 if not connected to Wii Fii which costs around £15 per month. With the IPhone you get free 3G so this may come as a suprise to some.

I am happy to answer your questions if you have any!!
