I bought this amazing gadget the day it was released, and everyday i use it, it may be expensive but it is definatley worth the money.
Better than the 3G version in a few small ways -
The Battery life is better
The camera has been upgraded, so it is now 3MP and with autofocus. The best thing about the focus is that when you take a photo you can tap on the screen in the place you want to camera to focus.
Also the camera allows Video aswell this time.
The it is twice as fast, many people say it isnt, but I know people with the plain 3G version and my 3GS is definatley alot faster than theirs.
The memory has been upgraded aswell, you can now get 16GB and 32GB models
And then theres a compass added to it aswell :)
Also the new iPhone comes with the new iPhone 3.0 Software. Which allows you to copy and paste, I know that sounds simple but you'd be surprised at how much you use it and how much time it saves.
The only downside with the software upgrade is that some of the Apps from the AppStore no longer work, but they are constantly upgrading and everyday the apps are getting fixed so that they do work with it, infact there is onlly a small amount of them now which do not work.
Now as for using the iphone - its very simple! The main screen is filled with icons that are easy to identify an you just tap on the icon and it quickly opens up. Sending a text message is just as simple, and they touch keyboard is great aswell, you just tap away at the letters and the keyboard also has an auto correct feature to help you along.
Also there are thousands of apps from the App store to download, there really is an App for everything!!
Then as you may Know the iphone isnt just a phone, its an Ipod aswell!, looks and works exactly the same as the iPod touch!

Advantages: IPhone touch screen so revolutionary, so many vendors that follow this technology, but still no Disadvantages: No Copy Paste function Yeah, Thata € ™ s right the iPhone did not have the feature to copy - paste
Advantages: Incredibly easy to use with huge selection of quality dowloadable apps. Almost perfect... Disadvantages: Battery life it at best acceptable
Advantages: great features and design, easy to use Disadvantages: very fragile, scratches easily. no way of opening phone. too fragile can brake so easily.
