The sides of the iPhones needs to be protected from moisture because of its sensors. The hands hold the sides and the sweat from our hands can cause problems for the phone. This bumper is good for side protection and it looks cool as well. It makes the phone colourful. It is easy to put on an take off and does not accumulate dust underneath.
However it provides limited to zero protection for the front and back of the phone. If u tend to drop your phone a lot it might be wise to buy a all around or back casing. The front and back of the phone is glass and is very expensive to replace. The gelgel bumper also tends to push out the screen protector edges.
If you take care of the phone then for the price its good idea to get just a bumper. However if your phone gets a rough handle you might want to spend a bit more and get full protective case.
I cant help but think the colour is pretty. I do not think it will suit my black iPhone. Light colours are more suitable for iPhone. Colours such as grey on a black phone look black. For a girl i think its important to choose the right colour in accordance with the colour of the phone.
