Now that you can buy movies from the iTunes Store and sync them to your iPod, the whole world is your theater. With a 30GB or 80GB iPod in hand, those movies fit comfortably next...
more...to TV shows, new iPod games, podcasts, audiobooks, photo albums, and, of course, an entire library of music - up to 20,000 songs, in fact. How much can your pocket hold? That's up to you and your iPod. It holds up to 20,000 songs, up to 25,000 photos, and up to 100 hours of video - or any combination of each. So you can browse movies on the iTunes Store, download the ones you want (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, perhaps?), and then sync it to your iPod. Same goes for TV episodes, new iPod games, 99¢ songs, best-selling audiobooks, and an entire universe of free podcasts. Go ahead. Fill 'er up. With all that music at your fingertips, you may never want to stop listening. Lucky thing your iPod plays audio for up to 20 hours. Or, if you'd rather watch, you can feast your eyes on movies and TV shows for up to six-and-a-half hours. It might be a miracle. Otherwise, it's hard to explain exactly how 30GB of storage can fit into an iPod that's over 30% thinner than the previous fourth generation. Or how an 80GB iPod can be the same size as the 60GB model before it. However it happened, it means you can carry your entire music collection - plus a nice selection of video - absolutely everywhere you go. And a 60% brighter, more vibrant display gives your album art, photos, and video extra oomph. Finding what you want to hear among 20,000 songs could be quite a chore - unless you have an iPod. A new interface lets you search your iPod using the patented Click Wheel. And if you're a fan of live albums, classical works, or anything that sounds best when it's continuous, iPod supports gapless playback that seamlessly transitions from one song to another.

this new innovation from apple to create an 80GB i pod which has the capability of playing 20,000 songs and 100 hours of video playback. It can also hold 25,000 pictures, and you can browse movies on the iTunes Store, download the ones you want then sync it to your iPod. Same goes for TV episodes, new iPod games and other downloads. The ipod video is slimmer than the original ipod, measuring less than half an inch thick which means it is 45 percent slimmer. There is a larger battery which supposedly promises five more hours of playback when compared to original ipod. That means up to 20 hours of total audio play time before it runs out.

The new ipod video has a larger 2.5-inch QVGA color screen meaning watching videos of it is never hard to see.

The ipod video can be made even better if you buy two of my favorite accessories. The first one is the A/V cable, it only costs £10 and it lets you put photos and video onto your television. Along with this I use a apple remote which costs £15 and allows you to flick through your photos or songs or videos without having to move. However if you want to have the remote your going to have to buy the Universal Dock which costs £25. Most accessories can be bought cheapest on eBay but if you want it quickly and you do not want any worry about bidding of eBay go to an apple shop.

The 2.5-inch screen that’s capable of displaying photos and video at up to 320x240 resolutions. The touch-sensitive click wheel I am most other people love is still built into the ipod design and it ensures easy navigation.

The new iPod can play podcasts, music videos, audio books, and display photos in addition to simply playing music. Other features include a built-in calendar and contacts list, world clock, stop watch, notes, and a few games.
In the box

Included with the new iPod is a set of ear buds, the latest iTunes and a USB cable for charging and syncing the iPod with your PC. They have chosen not to include a wall charger as to try and make more money off of us by charging us extra for it. It will cost you £15 in an apple shop but you can get it a lot cheaper on eBay as I found out.

During my experiences with the ipod video, the battery is often a problem. It lasts up to 20 hours however mine did not. Apple sent me a brand new one and it still works perfectly. The ipod is extreme light weight and versatile. in my opinion the 80GB I pod is the best of them all as it includes everything you could want and is extremely light weight and carrying on with the i pod tradition it can fit into your pocket!!
