This was so amazing and i now know why my friend never walked around without nodding his head. there is something about this ipod which is the sound quality that comes out of the built in speakers. With this, you even don't need to worry yourself about headphones if yours gets bad or missing. The only problem is that you cant play it in a noise free environment like a public library because of its noise. The iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8gb is an all round useful piece of equipment, from listening to music, to surfing the net, with useful apps, it makes a great gift. it also has built in speakers you do not need to carry the headphones if you dont want to. it also has a very reasonable price and is very compact so you can take it anywhere . the only disadvantages that i have seen is the sliding bars (e.g. brightness) are very hard to move and the battery doesnt last for very long. a good point about it is thawt the screen is virtualy impossible to scratch.The bottom line is the second-generationiPod Touch includes features that are light-years ahead of the competition, its design has improved, and its price has finally come down to earth. ...

This is a great product to have/own. The touch facility is amazing, and is extremely easy use. I got this for christmas, and I haven't put it down since. If you have had an iPod before, then it is exactly the same to put music/videos etc onto the Touch. The app (application) store is also great and easy to function. Although, I think the speakers could be much louder, but at least there are speakers. Podcasts are great on this too, just go to the app store, find the podcast you want, download it, and you have a podcast of your iPod Touch.
The sound quality is brilliant.
It is extremely easy to use.
