For an earbud design, these apple earbuds perform not too badly. its sound quality is typically much better than other stock earbuds vailable in the market, though still trails behind stock earphones provided by companies such as sony for their walkman series. however, this does not mean that they do not suffer from the typical design problems of earbuds such as lack of noise isolation, pathetic bass amongst other things.

the design of the earbuds are not very comfortable, at least for my ears. i feel that the design will not fit most of the people out there, as they are hard and the shape is one size only. thus this makes them much more uncomfortable as compared to earphones, which you can always change the tips.

the sound quality of the earbuds are also very poor, lacking very much in detail and bass. furthermore, the lack of noise isolation can be a huge problem in noisy areas, as one may need to turn up the volume, which may affect a persons hearing!

In conclusion, these apple stock earbuds are not too bad by earbuds standards, however they still have terrible fit and sound quality. if u lose the earbuds, honestly, dont bother dishing out $30 just to get another one, but instead go for proper in ear earphones. u can get one for half the price and still get better sound quality and isolation
