This is my first i-pod of any sort.I deceded on the 2GB apple i-pod Nano Black.
I have had mp3 players , cd players etc,but to be quite honest none of them came close to performance or ease of use as the Nano is.
I have loads of cds and so far have put on about ten.The sound ,once loaded on to the i-pod is even better than the cd itself.The sound is fantastic,its that good.i am hearing and picking up sounds and words i never recognised on the cd before.
The content in the i-pod itself is great,there are all types of settings and function,which are so easy to use .
It has a couple of games that you can play while listening to the i-pod which is great.(Solitaire)(,Music quiz)(,Bricks) are all pretty good to play.If you go on as many appointments as i do,its fantastic for the inevitable 30 minute waits we all have to endure.
In the settings mode,you can mix the sound up to ensure you get the optimum performane available which is great.
You can also store photos on it and have your own slide show.
it also has a clock,a contacts section,a calendar,a notes section and a stopwatch.
Performance,the only downsight to the i-pod is the battery life.I have used mine pretty much constantly and i am charging it all the time.I think your getting about ten hours on the one charge.Which isnt ideal if you are going away on a trip somewhere.
Price- I payed £159 for mine,which is about average on the net or the high street.Ofcourse this varies immensely depending where you decide to go for yours.
All in all i would definitely recommend the i-pod for your listening needs,if like me you listen to music for hours each day.
