I myself have an 2GB ipod nano, this came out September 7th 2005, i had mine that year but at Christmas. I still think this is a must have piece of technology, suitable for any age. Its battery power lasts up to 14 hours, and is great to go out jogging with music energised. Even when you're very bored talking to someone stick the tiny earphone in your ear. There are so many different ways to enjoy the apple ipod nano.
You can download 2GB worth of songs and photos onto your ipod nano with just a simple click from your computer- this ables you to download or buy music from your itunes on your PC, or when you buy CDs you could transfur your favourite songs from your CD onto your ipod. It comes with two adapters, one is to charge it and the other one is to transfur music, so it is easy to use.
The ipod nano is simple to figure out, as it has only one button which will able you to do everything, but is used as five.- For example: play, back, forward, menu and pause. It is also used to scroll down to what song you would like to listen to. They also put the song in alphabetical order so it is easy to find the right song for you. You can also have photos, which you can also download off your computer. You can make up your own Album of your most favourite songs, as well.
The design of the ipod is very good, it ha one button below the screen and a 'lock' button at the top. It has a small screen at the top which is 176x132 pixels, also from ebayyou can purchase an ipod nano at the most for just £30 : 00! Also for safety you can get a cover from your own choise of colour. This is pretects it if it falls out of your pocket as it is made out of rubber. The sound of the ipod is is very clear, and you can turn up the volume to whatever suites you best.
This is a very idyllic size for an ipod, it is quite small just right to fit into your pocket. Its suitable for a teenager and child also as they can turn up there music on the ipod as loud as they wont to, without disturbing anyone else with their blasting sterio. On the back of the ipod, it has a clip which you can attach to your tee-shirt or trouser pocket when you are listening to your music. The ear phones are long to fit your height, also very comfortable and wont hurt your ear also they will not fall out all of the time unlike the original ipods. However, the ipod nano can be very sensitive when you go to scroll down to a song, it is fustrating as it will scroll down very quickley. Also the screen and the writing is abit small and could strain your eyes.
Overall, i would recommened the 2GB ipod nano to people who enjoy listening to music while out and about. =]
