The ipod 30 gb video was my first decant mp3 player. The one before it was a 256mb samsung. Many of my friend had told me that the ipods were far too expensive for what they are. But I have to say that I dissagree.
Firstly, the huge amount of memory,(30gb) will store pretty much every song and video you have in your whole collection. You can save pretty much anything on you ipod including songs, films, music videos, pictures and games! When it came, I was amazed how thin it was! 7,500 songs on a device which is only a centremetre thick!!! It is very simple to use even when you first get started and its really stylish! The smooth shiny metal back and the just as shiny black front. The video playback is exeptional. Howerver, the black finish does scratch very easily, so it is probably essential to buy a case for it. I find this a great shame because it is so beautiful to look at.

I have seen many different ipods and mp3 players, and some people say Ipod's are overrated- well its the best one I've ever had and I enjoy the extra features too like the games and the music quiz.
