...on both amazon and the apple website and amazon turned out to be a little bit cheaper so I brought mine through that, although apple isn't much more expensive and you can get the back of your ipod engraved for free if you buy it via the apple shop.

The ipod nano is basically like a tarted up mp3 player. You can store up to 4GB of music on it (approx 1000 songs) ... ...no real protections.

...mean, seriously minuscule. According to Apple it is 0.26 of an inch thin and weighs just 1.41 ounces -seriously, I often forget this little beauty is even in my pocket. When I unpackaged it I was half-expecting it not to work because I thought the battery must have been left out - that's how light it is. This is of course one of the iPod Nano's best features - you can take it anywhere. It easily slips into a pocket leaving no unsightly bulge, it's ... ...a lot of space - Apple boasts that this is about 1000 songs, and at first I laughed, thinking they must be very testing it with very low-quality files, but no! I can get around that many high-quality MP3 files onto the iPod, and there is no noticeable slowing of the system or anything like that, either. The battery takes around 3 hours to charge and lasts for days, even when it is being used a lot.

Well, I bought this one for its style. The colour is absolutely vibrant and amazing. If you like to stand out and look cool, then this is for you. Well it looks great and all, but how does it perform?
To start, sound quality is amazing. The screen backlight is much brighter than the older models of Nanos and the battery lasts longer. They are also smaller and best of all- CHEAPER. If you are looking to buy a gift for a female then this will surely ... ...and will get all the looks from their friends with this new stylish Ipod Nano.
There is a possible downside to this. The only way to add music to it is via Itunes. This requires that to be installed on you computer and if you do not like itunes then tough- you have to use it. Itunes for me runs fine, never runs in the background slowing up my pc and only turns on when i plug in then ipod so it is fine. Highly recommend - CHOOSE YOU COLOUR! ...

I read many reviews for different MP3 players and many contradicted each other. The iPod Nano is small and compact, eacy to set up and use, good sound quality, bright, bold colour and a clear display. The iPod also has a very good reputation for dealing with technical problems and it has online help on their website and on ... ...to understand however you do need internet access to download iTunes. Battery life is very good, i use mine regularly each day and need to charge it every 4-5 days at most. It was very quick to start using my iPod and to download songs onto it. I can also put photos onto my iPod and they are very clear. The 4GB has a lot of storage so can easily hold all of the music and photos i wish to carry around with me! The iPod is the most popular of all the mp3 players so I found it quite easy to pick this as my first choice. Previous mp3 players I have owned I found difficult to use and hard to find what I wanted to listen to. Now, it's very easy as when I use this iPod I can narrow down my music to find what I want much quicker than before. Clicking to MUSIC, I can then go to PLAYLISTS, ARTISTS, ALBUMS, SONGS, PODCASTS, GENRES, COMPOSERS and even a SEARCH feature. ... ...contain this info then you can input it in iTunes on your PC. It's so easy to navigate around it and the screen is brighter than before.
It includes some basic extras such as BRICK and SOLITARE and CLOCK and CALENDAR as well as other things. But no voice recording.
It is very easy to buy cases and skins because of the huge popularity of this mp3. Just buy it. The ONLY thing I regret is purchasing the pink and not green. But that's my fault, not ...
