Apple is the rival to Sony when it comes to music entertainment. I think that Apple make the most superior mp3. Players. The navigation through the menus are simple and easy and you have the option of searching for your favourite music by searching through the album track or artist.
The ipod is slim and light and you sometimes forget it’s in your pocket. The 2nd generation of ipod is a marked improvement from the first ever ipod that to say the least was the size and weight of the old school game boys made by Nintendo.
The ipod also runs from itunes, itunes to me is better and easier to upload to and from and navigate than Microsoft Media Player. Media player 9 is very difficult to navigate but even though every so often itunes has a more up to date version it keeps the navigation simple and thus promotes ease of use. When you buy an ipod it should come with itunes on CD however you can download itunes for free and all updates for free from the apple website.
Their are very few faults that occur with the ipod however to reset your ipod without loosing music you can press down the enter/select button and the play button held down at the same time the screen will go blank and the apple logo will come up this can be done when you ipod crashes if this fails than a master reset from itunes can be used but this will wipe your ipod.
Itunes also has an istore where you can download and buy music online. The ipod can store up to 500 songs at once and their is the option to lock your ipod while in use to stop track skipping.

You can also for around £20 in Argos purchase a wall charger for your ipod and charge off a mains plug as well as taking up a USB port on your PC. If you get stuck my advice is to go to Google and type in the error with your ipod and search the forums rather than the Apple site that lacks support information.
