I was looking too buy a new MP3 player after my older one decided it wasnt going to work too well. I needed something that looked good coudl hold enough music and wasnt ridiculously exspensive.

The i-Pod seemed the most obvious choice to me, so finally after a long while of searching I settled for a second generation nano in silver. Not once have I regretted the choice I made. Stylish sleek and it slips in the pocket with real ease. The wheel is excellent for navigating the different menus. Really simple but really effective anyone could use it.the soudn quality is amazing and when I run with it at the gym it doesnt bounce in my pocket or fall out, a real worry with my old MP3 player.

Adding music is a real easy thing to do you just plug it in to your computer load up i-Tunes and drag the songs that you want on into the folder! However their are a number of differnet things that can cause problems when loading music. It took my computer an age to convert the few songs that I had on my computer to a form that I tunes could work with. If you have a lot of music and want to load it then it will take your i-Pod and i-Tunes a long time to convert it.

The battery life is excellent I have not yet managed to run down the battery below half even with a weekend away camping. However one of the major problems is that you only get a charger that will charge off your PC as you load music, so I found it was definatly worth investing in a docking station that I coudl connect to my PC and charge the i-pod at the same time from the mains.

The manual that it comes with although Basic contains everything that you need. Explained by little pictures and few written words it can be difficult to understand at first however this isn't a problem as after you work out the most basic things the rest becomes a lot easier.

If your looking for something that is stylish, compact, lightweight and money isn't an issue then the i-pod is almost certainly for you. If you just want an MP3 player and dont care what it looks like and money is an issue then the i-Pod is not for you.

A great little peice of kit but I have wonderd weather it was worth the £120.00 that I paid for it.
