Be the first to trust me

I have owned a 8GB IPod Nano for around three years now, and have never looked back. I remember using old MP3 players when I was young, and the frustration they would give me as they ran out of battery so quickly, or even slowly fell apart from just normal use. I can safely say that I love my IPod and this is why:

-Usability-
Since I have bought my IPod I have loved the usability of the scroll wheel. The only issue that I have ever had with this is that it occasionally sticks and either scrolls when I don't want it to (I am trying to press a button) or I try to scroll a little to adjust the volume and it sticks and whacks it up to the max. A slight little niggle I will agree but I can put up with this for its superior performance for most of its use.

-Build quality-
I can safely say that my IPod has stood up to everything that I have thrown at it superbly. Okay it now has a few scratches on the back of the metal case, but the screen is intact, it has not dies on me yet and the battery, although not as new, still has lots of charge left in it. The product feels very sturdy and should not stop working on you if you treat it well. I haven't even needed to put it inside a case.

-Storage/Syncing-
This 8GB model actually holds around 200ish songs less than the 2000 that it says it will. Not exactly sure why this is, but it still holds all the songs that I need it too, and it will certainly take a long time to listen and get bored of 1800ish songs. So ample storage I find.
The IPod automatically syncs with ITunes which is very handy to just set up with a playlist and update that just every now and again. I will accept that not everybody likes and gets on with ITunes but I find it simple and effective for my needs.

-Games-
There are a few simple games included with the IPod, quite basic and hard to focus properly on a small screen but great for amusing small kids, or when bored on the bus or even in the odd lecture.

-Sound Quality-
Out of all the portable music players that I have tried over the years the IPod has by far the best sound quality. The only downside is the headphones that come with the IPod. After changing them for a decent pair of sennheisers however I had sweet, sweet music in my ears.

-Overall-
This is the best portable music player that I have ever experienced, and the fact that you can get them really cheaply online or even off EBay now is a great bonus. The player plays music, photos and videos really easily. The only downside is having to use ITunes (a downside for some) and that it comes with frankly cheap and nasty headphones. But these are easily replaceable and the fact is that once you buy an IPod you will never buy anything else again.
