I have owned a 8GB IPod Nano for around three years now, and have never looked back. I remember using old MP3 players when I was young, and the frustration they would give me as they ran out of battery so quickly, or even slowly fell apart from just normal use. I can safely say that I love my IPod and this is why:
-Usability--Build quality-
I can safely say that my IPod has stood up to everything that I have thrown at it superbly. Okay it now has a few scratches on the back of the metal case, but the screen is intact, it has not dies on me yet and the battery, although not as new, still has lots of charge left in it. The product feels very sturdy and should not stop working on you if you treat it well. I haven't even needed to put it inside a case.
-Games-
There are a few simple games included with the IPod, quite basic and hard to focus properly on a small screen but great for amusing small kids, or when bored on the bus or even in the odd lecture.
-Overall-
This is the best portable music player that I have ever experienced, and the fact that you can get them really cheaply online or even off EBay now is a great bonus. The player plays music, photos and videos really easily. The only downside is having to use ITunes (a downside for some) and that it comes with frankly cheap and nasty headphones. But these are easily replaceable and the fact is that once you buy an IPod you will never buy anything else again.
