i think that the new ipod nano has a great modern design that is so thin it slides into your pocket and you don't feel it at all. The range of bright colors make the ipod more personal. in my opinion the sound quality is ok but the earphones are cheap which reduces the quality. the battery lasts for ages and doesn't take long to charge at all. When you plug the ipod into your PC or MAC the software itunes that comes with it automatically updates it with music you have on the computer. it also updates the ipod as well. you can put podcasts on with a few clicks of the mouse which saves you time. You can also turn the ipod on it's side so you can view album covers or video's in a bigger viewing mode.

Advantages: software is so easy to use. trustworthy brand, easy to find music on ipod, can import from cds Disadvantages: Not many, sound quality is not amazing, but solved by investing in better headphones
