I have owned my 8 g I pod nano for around about eighteen months now, and find it suits my needs very well. I primarily use it for when I go out running and find I need to charge it up only around once every week and a half so the battery probably gives me around 12 hours of play time.
It is a very light weight and small mp3 player that fits very easily into my hand when running. The nano itself is a great looking machine which comes in a variety of colours including black, orange, pink, green and purple.
The extra features included are a timer which I find very useful when I’m out running, a contacts book, and an alarm. The screen will turn around when you turn it on it’s side and then back again when you put it up right depending on which view you would prefer.
It can also play films, tv shows and games that have been downloaded on the nano, which is an ok feature but I find the screen to small so if that is what you after in an mp3 player I suggest you look into buying an I pod touch.
I would expect that the sound and picture quality would be very good from a name such as apple and I have not been disappointed.
I purchased mine for £120 around a year and a half ago and have found it to be very good value for money it has yet to let me down.
