This Ipod is very stylish, I love the baby blue colour of it. Its small and sleek which can only be a good thing. The stainless steel back also adds to the looks but unfortunately it does scratch easily so care must be taken not to scratch it. Just like a lot of ipods, it has the scroll wheel which is unique to the Ipod and just adds to the looks. The display is much better than the older ipod nano with it being bigger and brighter which is useful when outside in the sun, however it can still be much brighter as it's still a little difficult to see in the sun. The software on the ipod is as good looking as usual whilst being basic and easy to use.
Ease of use
As i've already said, the software is really easy to use and its really easy to find what you need. The scroll wheel is easy to use and th buttons are still large enough for those with large fingers to push. The few buttons also saves a lot of confusion and it is easy to switch between the several modes it has, from music to video to pictures. A very easy ipod to use.
Sound
The sound on this is brlliant, just like the rest of the ipod range. The headphones that are provided are amazing, allowing the best sound possible from the music. The bass and treble are just right for my music anyway. I like that this ipod can support a lot of different music file types unlike some MP3 players i have had in the past.
Features
There are a fair few features that you get with this ipod that you dont get with some MP3 players. One is the ability to play videos, which I personally find to be very useful as I love watching films. Another feature is the calender that I find useful to help me remember important dates that I would otherwise forget. As with the old ipod nano, you get 3 games but can buy more from the itunes store for £3.99. The three games you get are vortex, iquiz and klondike solitaire, which is by far my favourite. However, unlike the ipod touch, you don't have access to the internet which is one of the disadvantages of the nano. Another disadvantage of the nano is the small hard drive. 8gb is personally too small for my range of music.
Prices
For the ipod nano, in blue, if your to buy from Apple will set you back about £129.00. Which I think is quite a lot for the small hard drive and lack of internet, whereas for only £30 more you can get an ipod classic with an 80gb hard drive, ten times as much more space.
