The iPod shuffle is, without ANY shadow of doubt, the best MP3 player I have ever owned.
It is incredibly strong for something of it's size and weight. The day I bought mine I accidentally sent it flying across my kitchen, to find it had no damage whatsoever. I recently fell off of my skateboard with the iPod clipped to my belt-loop, landed directly on it, and the little thing still works perfectly, despite having had 89kg fall and slide on it. The only damage taken was very light scratching of the alluminium.

The capacity, while nothing amazing, is perfect for those wishing to listen to a few tunes whilst on the go. It holds around 200 songs, depending on file size, which for most people is just fine.

With the miniature size of it, and the clip on the back, the Shuffle is very portable, and can be clipped to pretty much anything, like belt-loops, tracksuit trousers, shirts, jackets, backpacks etc. The clip is very strong, so the iPod won't just fling off of whatever it's attatched to.

It is extremely easy to use, with very simple buttons; play/pause, volume controls, track skip/fast-forard and rewind all neatly together in a circle and the repeat/shuffle and on/off sliders at the bottom of the iPod.

You could probably find other 1 GB MP3 players cheaper, but I guarantee you the quality will be nothing in comparison to the Shuffle, which is around £30.

Like I said, best MP3 player I've ever owned. Most usually last me a month or 2 before they break, but I've had my iPod Shuffle since March 2008 and it's still going perfectly.
