All iPods do fit into the socks. IPod nanos slide easily in and out, so could fall out if it is in your bag upside down, but admittedly this has never happened to me! iPod touches are I think, slightly too ... more

If the answer is yes to the above then you need some iPod socks!
iPod socks are as the name suggests a sock for your iPod. They are little pouches that you slip your iPod into whenever you aren’t using it. They come in packs of six (Orange, Grey, Pink, Green, Blue and Purple) and are supposed to be compatible with all iPods except the iPod Shuffle.
All iPods do fit into the socks. IPod nanos slide easily in and out, so could fall out if it is in your bag upside down, but admittedly this has never happened to me! iPod touches are I think, slightly too wide. They do fit in the socks but it is a bit of a stretch. I can’t comment on classic iPods as I don’t own one, but I would think they fit perfectly as they aren’t as wide as a touch and aren’t as slim as a nano.
The socks themselves are very good quality and should last a very long time. Even if they don’t you have another five to use!
The only disadvantage is if you want to change the song or look at the screen you have to take it out of the sock and the put it back in, but to be honest thats not that much bother (To me anyway!).
These are a definite must buy if you want to stop your iPod getting covered in those inevitable scratches.

One of the most appealing factors that attracted me to the white goddess was the fact that the amount of accessories available for the iPod was more than I could have dreamt about. It had become so big of a product that companies were creating socks literally to cash in on the product boom. The iSock by the way, is an actual genuine collection of socks you can buy from Apple to make sure that your iPod is safe and warm when you go to sleep or carry it around with you. There are so many different accessories you could actually affiliate with your iPod that I am just going make life easier for me and you by listing it.
