The most striking and obvious feature of this iPod is it's beautiful design. Very appealing to the eye, and with a slick chrome finish, the Touch is a very classy product indeed. However, in my own opinion, the chrome finish can easily get smudged which can become irritating for people (like myself) who like to keep their iPod in pristine condition. But there are solutions to this, such as protective cases, which can be purchased for a relatively decent price.
The screen is generously large and with a very crisp finish it makes navigation and video playback a real pleasure.
Also, a really nice feature which wasn't present on the previous model of the Touch, is the built in speaker. This allows the user to listen to content without the use of headphones and can be very handy when a group of people want to hear the same content at once. The only downside is that the volume of the speaker is not very loud, but it is still a great addition overall.
Practicality:
With innovative technology and such a broad range of features, It would be easy to assume that the iPod Touch might be a bit tricky to navigate around. But this is not the case. The touch screen feature does not take much getting used to, and the simple menu layouts allow the user to get from application to application effortlessly.
Internet Capabilities:
The iPod Touch is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing the user to connect to available WI-Fi hotspots which can be found across the globe. This feature is extremely useful, both in the home, as well as abroad. I personally found this feature especially helpful while on my travels. I was able to connect to the "Google Maps" application which allowed me to search for tourist attractions in close proximity to me as well as find my way around the city.
The Wi-Fi feature also has many other advantages. Such as allowing the user to transform their iPod into a remote control and use it to access their iTunes library. (A very handy feature)
Battery Life:
The battery life, In my opinion, is very efficient considering the type of tasks the iPod is performing. Certain different features drain the battery more than others, but overall the battery life is very generous. Videos seem to run the battery life down the quickest, but I find that by turning the brightness of the screen down slightly, you can improve the usage by nearly 50%
Range of Applications & Features:
The iTunes store has thousands of apps. available for free download or for a small fee. The range of apps. available is vast but personally I think that the quality of some of these apps. are not up to standards. However, there is an app. for nearly every need ranging from retro arcade games to financial support applications.
Conclusion:
For those of you who are looking for something different from your regular mp3 players, you won't be disappointed. While the price tag may seem off-putting, you really do get a lot for your money. An all in one media player capable of music and video playback, Wi-Fi capabilities, photo storage, arcade games and much more, you'll find that you can't go anywhere without your iPod Touch!

Improved design. Its price is afforadable. WE can enjoy big screen. User interface. Lousy scratching. Ordinary wireless capability. I fund that it didn't have problem with cros talk. We can carry it easily.

It has - Video, radio, Games, Ohotos, Podcasts, Internet, wi-fi music download.And many more.

...saw a friend using the Apple iPod Touch 32 GB 2nd Generation and i immediately fell in love with it just from first sight. When i decided to purchase mind, i noticed what i bought was thinner, had a bigger storage of 32GB, an internal speaker, the touch screen feature is wonderful and 3D graphics. This was so amazing and i now know why my friend never walked around without nodding his head. there is something about this ipod which is the sound quality ... ...you even don't need to worry yourself about headphones if yours gets bad or missing. The only problem is that you cant play it in a noise free environment like a public library because of its noise. It is somehow looking like an Iphone and its design in unique to its model and that makes it a good for good player. I love this Ipod and i think you can give it a try. ...

This is a great product to have/own. The touch facility is amazing, and is extremely easy use. I got this for christmas, and I haven't put it down since. If you have had an iPod before, then it is exactly the same to put music/videos etc onto the Touch. The app (application) store is also great and easy to function. Although, I think the speakers could be much louder, but at least there are speakers. Podcasts are great on this too, just go to the ...

I bought my iPod Touch in January this year for £265 from www.amazon.co.uk, and I have to say; it was the best buy I have ever made! The Good Stuff: The iPod touch simply has everything: Music, Video, Applications, Touchscreen, WiFi, external speaker etc. The list just goes on. The application ability is awesome; They were actually the main reason I bought it, and it was certainly worth it - They have kept me entertained for the last 6 months, and ... ...is great, giving clear, crisp sound, and although not as loud as, for instance, some mobile phones, the speakers are fairly loud and clear too. As well as this, the 3.5" widescreen makes watching videos great, and with a fairly long battery life, it's perfect for car journeys. Having WiFi is great, as, for example, you can check your e-mails at home without having to wait for your computer to load (which for me takes a looong time!). Overall, this ...

...off, I am a big apple fan, I use macs and all their software, so about two years ago I brought an Ipod video, this was my pride and joy, I loved that little Ipod, it did everything I wanted it to - and more. The sound quality was amazing, so was the video quality. But then last October time, this brilliant piece of kit came out on the market, and I had to get one, unfortunately to be able to afford it I had to sell my old faithful, trustworthy, Ipod ... ...maybe better. Recently apple brought out the iphone 3.0 upgrade, now I got this straight away, and was once again amazed that apple had found a way to make this magnificent piece of kit, even better. Now with the added features of searching, bluetooth and the ability for apps to access the dock connector, the possibilities are truly endless. Now for the small downsides to this otherwise perfect gadget, Unfortunately apple replaced the old black sides ...
