    User recommends the product

    Advantages Advantages A large amount of features, really durable, great quality screen, great selection of applications

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Occasional slow connectivity, iTunes required

    The iPod Touch was really one of those things that I have wanted from the beginning, but have never really been sure about actually getting around to buying. I’m now very glad that I did. The iPod Touch is a device that has inspired many-a-gadget with its sleek applications; brilliant usability and massive amount of usages. Apple started the touch-screen craze, and I’m not surprised to see that they have pushed their product up yet another notch. Quality The quality of the device, both in the screen and the build, is excellent. I’d be hard pressed to say that the screen can be easily damaged ... more

    Advantages Advantages very entertaining and cheaper than iphones

    Disadvantages Disadvantages battery runs down very quick and screen can be easily smashed

    After four long months of being nagged at by my 6 year old daughter for an Iphone, I kind of relented and ended up buying her an Ipod Touch 4g instead due to positive comments I had heard from other people. I have had my Iphone 4 since the week they came out in 2010 and my daughter has been just as addicted as me - mainly with the games... as she has got older she wants to act more grown up and having a phone was one of those things... The great thing about iPod Touch's is they can be easily mistaken for a phone - they can practically do everything! ********** Spec * Black in colour * 8 gig ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good range of apps; camera;

    Disadvantages Disadvantages a lot of things

    Long technical reviews deter me from reading so I want to simply TOUCH on the may features. I won’t go into the whole background of APPLE but just about everyone knows it’s one of the most highly valued, quality assured and sophisticated brands money can buy. I am actually more of a Samsung girl than an Apple girl. Even though an Apple Ipod classic but be ideal for me seeing as I am obsessed with music and constantly upgrade my Samung for more storage, they’ve never appealed to me. An 8gb will only hold about 1,700 songs. I don’t know why I purchased the Touch; in hindsight, for the £200 it ... more

    User recommends the product

    Advantages Advantages speed of operating system, ease of use, screen resolution, camera, applications.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Wi-Fi range, battery whilst playing movies, browsing the internet.

    The original concept of an mp3 player was to allow the user to store and listen to their music on a small device which was completely portable and simple to use. This concept has developed dramatically and mp3 players have now adapted into mp4 players allowing the user to experience video, music and photos all on small handheld devices. The ipod touch sports one of the most revolutionary designs to date amongst the ranks of MP4 players currently available on the market. It has become an instantly recognisable figure in the world of tech-today. It now boasts a whole range of facilities, this ... more

    User recommends the product

    Advantages Advantages Fast, good apps, average camera, good web browser, good software

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Tethered to iTunes

    First Impressions As soon as I took the device out of the box (which proved a challenge) I was immediately hit by it's good looks and thickness. Being only 7.2mm thick (and owning an iPhone 4) I was struck at how nicely Apple made it fit in the hand, and the chrome back is now flat so the device no longer teeter-totters when you use it on a surface. The front is also now completely black now unlike previous generations where the LCD was clearly visible. I turned the device on and the quality and sheer brightness of the new LED-backlit Retina display amazed me, although there is a slight yellow ... more
