I really like the 80GB Ipod Classic. It plays videos clearly. The shape is ergonomic so you can comfortably hold it in your hand. You can adjust the brightness to your level. Also, the music quality is clear and you can hold TONS of music. The only CON I have is of its lag time. Since it uses a hard drive, it lags just a little compared to the Ipod Nano. Also, with its natural shape, you don't have to buy a case or anything of the sort. It stands up to many drops. The case, though, is not that scratch resistant and can be prone to some major scratches. If you want to protect it from scratches, a cheap, plastic case could come in handy. The uploading music through itunes can sometimes be tricky, but it isn't that steep of a learning curve. Other than that, the Ipod Classic is a very well rounded mp3 player.
