when i first purchased this product i struggled to use it because i didnt understand the syncronising from itunes to the pc, after a day or so i got the hang of itunes and set my ipod up. it is vey secure and can be pasword locked, and the cover flow option makes it fun to browse music. The viseo section is didided into small sections like TV shows, Movies, Music videos... this makes the ipod simple to use. I have several episodes of various tv shows on my ipod, a good thing about this is the ipod divides them up into their seperate seasons. The clicker can be turned off which a very good because it can get annoying, and you can even plug the device into a portable videoaccessory via usb cable and view tv shows from your ipod on a bigger screen! So far the ipod has never frozen or had any other technical problems so it is very satisfying to use, there is a built in search engine in this ipod so you can search your songs by lettrer or by word, this can be extremely usefull when you have over 100 songs because you dont have to seach through albums etc. Probably my favourite thing about the ipod classic is when you turn it off, it remembers where you turned it off and when it is turned back on it starts up where it was turned off, even in the middle of a tv show! Another thing i love about this device is the lock switch at the top which allows the user to lock the ipod to prevent accidental pressing of buttons. It has a contacts folder and a clock. If you are bored you could also try the games which are included free with the device. they are simple, easy to controll but give a good challenge that kept me interested. Downloading from itunes to the ipod takes only minuites and the songs are automaticly added onto the ipod when you plug it into your computer. The big downside to an ipod is the fact you have to keep all the media stored in itunes which can potentially cause your computer to slow. To summarise this review i am extremely satisfied with this product and couldnt suggest any ways to improve the device, exept possibly wireless radio built into the ipod.
