The ipod nano scratches very easily. You can now purchase screen protection covers. they simply stick directly on to the screen and protect it from any scratches. They are cheap to buy and once stuck on to your nano they are completely invisable. i really recomend protecting the screen, within two days of buying my nano i had got a small scratch on the corner of the screen.
It is also very easy to get your nano covered in finger marks. I recommend using a glasses cleaning cloth to get rid of them. It is just as effective as using a ipod cleaning product and is a lot cheaper.
To maxamise the battery drain it completly and alow it to fully charge. Doing this regularly helps the longlivty of the battery, a new battery is very expensive. Ipod nano claims to have 12 hours power but in reality the best you can expect is nine.
