Conceptualize this: I reckon five days ago many folks were peeling back the wrapping paper on a Christmas present to reveal a perspective rectangular box about the size of two decks of playing cards. At first they probably thought or had said to themselves, **when they were just about to tear off the wrapper - "Ughh, what in the world could this be??!" Hey! Inside was a 3rd Generation Apple iPod Nano.. Yeah, it did give me the "WOW" factor as well!
This model is just awesome! It is far more better in terms of quality, feature and style as opposed to its predecessors. Guess what? The Apple designers even made room to squeeze in VIDEO features! which once was only available with the larger and more expensive iPODs!
What else? The screen: SMALL but SHARP! The introduction of the COVER FLOW feature that Apple brought out with the iPhone (another one I want!) which allows you to flick through an image gallery of the album covers, which it downloads from the internet, instead of just a list of names - although you still have that option. It also comes preloaded with a couple of games including a trivia quiz, a Minesweeper-type game and a solitaire game! What else could you ask for??!! If I were you, don't think twice! =)

...I guess the people at Apple must have been stumped as to what to do this year. So to make sure they have a \"new\" product in the market they took the existing Ipod Nano, squashed it, rounded it and sent it on its merry way to the shops, just in time for the Christmas rush.
Yes, I was not in desperate need for a new Ipod. My 2nd Generation 4Gb Nano has done me well, if a little scratched on the casing from being stuck in my pocket with coins and ... ...certain hands, but im sure Apple wont admit to that.
The Ipod is now more 'screen' than 'space' and boasts a clear and crisp LCD screen. Its much brighter than the older ipod screen and the colour definition is greatly improved. Its even bigger than the older ipod screen boasting 2 whole inches! If you want to watch full length movies on it, buy a microscope. Its not like going to the cinema!

...music onto the ipod. Apple provide Itunes from there website but it's only available for windows 2000 and above. (Don't know about Mac's.) The new Nano has a 2" full colour screen that is 65% brighter than the old version and measures 69 x 52 x 6.5mm, weighing just under 50 grams. The sizing make's it look a bit dumpy but I think it's cute. It comes in a range of colours including a brand new pink one that's lovely.
The best feature of this ipod ... ...TV shows, music videos, podcasts and use the cover flow (pictures of the album cover) to flip through your music. I find this feature annoying as Itunes only recognised some of my albums so half the tracks don't have a picture.
The 8GB claim's to hold 2000 songs but I have never tried to add that many songs before.
The click wheel can be over sensitive at times but it adjusts the volume, navigates songs, and explores the music menu by playlist, ...

The new iPod nano looks great; you will be stunned when you open its amazingly small retail package. It is very thin, but feels sturdy in the hand. Some may find the iPod nano difficult to hold as I did. You will require a case for the iPod nano, otherwise it will become very scratched. Despite being called the 'chunky' iPod, I think that it looks better then then previous generation iPod nano.
The previous generation of iPod nano were more of a ... ...this 3rd generation feels like a shrunk down version.
Features wise this MP3 player is great. Obviously it plays music, and will hold an average person's music collection. Video looks really sharp, if not small. However it is not suitable for widescreen video (16:9), as most the screen ends up being filled with black letterbox bars. This iPod got me into podcasts, because they are so easy to set-up. This is a ipod nano. It is great beacuse of the size. It fits easily in my pocket, about the size of a credit card. The main appeal of this ipod is the video feature. The screen is 5.5cm from corner to corner but it has a great picture and the soud is floorless. It can fit quite alot of video before it is full. I have a few full films on it but its still not full. Another new thing for this ipod is the cover flow feture. Great new way to look for ... ...get artwork for each song. Unless you have an itunes account and even if you do it doesnt always reconise a song.
A let down for me is that you cant really add music or remove it without the Itunes program. But this is the same with all iPods ( you can still use other programs but they dont always work)
Sleak new look and size makes this a have to have over the old ipods. ...

Advantages: Great for running Disadvantages: Scratches easily
This is just amazingly slim with a colour screen and a decent amount of memory. I use this in conjunction with the nike plus system and only use it pounding the roads. The solid state memory means it does not skip and it even seems to cope well with some rain and sweat!
On the downsides, the coverflow feature is a gimmick and realy slows teh navigation down. I can aslo see why they made it so wide to fit the split screen as displayed in. I am not ...
