I will try to keep this review as short as possible so as to inlcude only the relevant information. I purchased this ipod when it just released for £45.
SOUND QUALITY: crisp, clear sounds from the standard ipod shuffle headphones. clear bassline. Its the sound quality you expect from an ipod. The volume range is good.
EASE OF USE: Very easy to use thanks to the clever design. All the controls are on the earphone cord. on the ipod itself are the power off, shuffle and continous playback functions, incorporated on one switch.
LOOK AND DESIGN: sleek, nice chrome clasp at the back, small size, good colour. The switch is in chrome. The earphones have the control buttons which are at a reasonable distance away from the earpeice. The controls are easy to use, however the control buttons are too small and too close together.
RANGE OF FEATURES: Standard shuffle feature and continous playback. Standard Volume control. Skipping a song has changed which requires you to press the center button twice to skip to the next track and three times to go the previous track. The nice new feature is the voice over which when the center button is kept pressed, the name of the song and artist is voiced.
VALUE FOR MONEY: Very cheap for an ipod, good features.
