...After owning two previous iPod's (1st and 3rd Gen Nano's) I decided it as time to carry my music collection to another level and invest in a new iPodTouch.
After researching the memory options available to me (8GB and 16GB) I decided to go for the 16GB option as it did not cost too much extra and I thought that I would use it to store some movies.
When I received my iPod and started it up, I found the interface very familiar as I have owned two previous iPods and an Apple MacBook. I found that the iPodTouch was very easy to use and the Touch Screen was very user-friendly.
The thing I like most about the iPodTouch is the looks and feel of it. You can be very proud walking around in the streets with this iPod and will feel as if everyone is watching you use this superb device.
The only things I found frustrating about the iPod...

Advantages: Ease of Use, Esceptional Design, High Quality Disadvantages: Rear Metal Casing
...is on par as far as I'm concerned, it never misses a touch or swipe and works flawlessly when navigating music, making finding your favourite track a breeze.
I suppose the only downside would be the metal casing on the back of the iPod, this has however been a problem on almost all of the newer iPods and we can only hope Apple find a new way to encase the rear of the iPod. For those unaware of the aforementioned problem, the rear of newer iPods are encased in metal, which gets scratched incredibly easy, making the rear of the device very unattractive.
If your having trouble choosing between this product, and the other iPod models, I recommend asking yourself whether or not 16GB or 32GB is enough for you now, or will be enough in the future? If your not much of a music lover, maybe the Nano would be for you? If you have a large music library...

...Apple does it again. I recently purchased the iPodTouch16GB. It has everything you really need from a MP3 player and more...
I love the Wi-Fi technology it has to access the internet via there internet browser Safari. The access to youtube is also a fun aspect.
I wasnt so impressed though with the update of the iPodTouch via iTunes. I updated my iPod software from version 1.1.2 to the new 1.1.3 and didnt give me the extra applications which the iPhone has. theses applications are Mail, Maps, Weather, Notes & Stocks. These are great add on applications especially the maps.
Apple has set a charge for these applications if you want them on your iPodTouch $19.99 (about £9.99)
Overall iPodTouch is a amazing piece of technology and a must have. The touch technology is excellent. Just the added applications for free would...
