Having upgraded my ipod photo 30gb for this I have to say that I am slightly dissapointed with this device. I pre ordered this after reading rave reviews in the news of the world, and when it arrived I couldnt wait to open it. Upon opening it I was amazed by the sleek and stylish design, the screen size (3.5inch widescreen), and the slimness of the design. (Obviously designed with skinny jeans in mind!!). Its a lot lighter in weight than my old ipod weighing in at 4.2 ounces, which obviously makes it easier for use at the gym or out jogging, it certainly wont bulk up your pockets! It boasts wi-fi which makes it stand out a mile from other mp3 players and older ipods. You can now access I-Tunes on the move, aswell as YouTube, along with an easy to usetouch screen. There is only one button at the bottom of the device that you press to access all the main features. The sleep button is located on the side at the top left hand corner. The quality of video's and pictures is superb, boasting a widescreen resolution of 480 by 320, with 163 pixels per inch, exactly the same as the much anticipated Iphone. When playing music, the touch's main focus is on the album art and flips into widescreen mode to show off the album cover, and with a simple touch in the top right hand corner it will flip back enabling you to skip songs easily. Playlists are just a double click away, and very easily accesible, without the frustrating crawling through like the older ipods, its a simple touch and drag to skip to the song you desire. You can shuffle all playlists (which you couldnt do on the older ipods), and you can also shuffle songs and artists too. The down side to this ipod in my personal opinion is the lame apple headphones. I would definately recommend upgrading to a decent pair to enable the ipod to blast out the music to it's full potential. Also I find the fact the ipod flips to an album cover almost as soon as a song has begun is slightly annoying, it needs a right side tap, and another flick just to skip to another song. The 16GB version doesnt come with a wall charger either, so should you take your fashionable little device on holiday, you will need to buy one. Also the headphone jack is now situated on the bottom of the ipod, and if like me, you connect it up to your stereo in your car, this can cause a problem because it no longer fits on my old ipod holder (I have to put the touch upside down!). I use the ipod as a music player only, so I find it a little frustrating, the headphones supplied, are although apple pretty, are weak, there was no charger, and the memory is half that of my previous ipod. I find it a little more effort to skip a track, and my recently played list is not what I have recently played! But saying that its a gorgeous little device, very stylish, very clever with its wi-fi capabilities, and well worth the money. The fact that people will double take it, and mistake it for an iphone makes it worth the money too!!

Advantages: Not just music, but an app store full of thousands of apps, wifi, video, photo and more! Disadvantages: It is hard to think of a disadvantage but the main one would be that it can occasionally crash.

Review of Apple iPod touch 16 GB
Advantages: Has games that can be played, and has access to the internet. Disadvantages: Since it is a touch screen it is kind of hard to keep it in my pocket cause it changes on its own.
