I love the looks of this Ipod, its a really sleek design and the large screen only adds to the wonderful looks. I love that it is in black and silver as I feel this increases its looks. Its just a wondeful looking piece of kit. Even the software looks good on it with it showing the pictures of the albums. With the option of free personalised engraving on the back you can write any message that you want, whether it be your name or if its a gift, the recipients name with a nice mesage.
Usability
I found that this is as easy to use if not easier than all of the other ipods in the range. The touch screen is much easier to use than the wheel that is usually associated with Ipods. I found it easy to find music and videos on this Ipod. The sound quality that you get with Ipods is just outstanding and the touch doesnt let you down. With the touch, you get a wide range of extra features including pictures and even the internet. All of which can be accessed from the customisable main menu with the touch of the screen. The accelerometer that is built into the ipod touch allows the user to turn the touch from portrait to landscape and the screen will adapt the position.
However, I must mention the few but rather important faults of this Ipod, the first being the obvious, the touchscreen. The touch screen could do with a little improvement as it often sticks and doesn't recognise the input. The second fault with the touch is the price. According to a research and development team, the components of the ipod touch only cost apple $197 (around £100), less than hald of what apple are selling the touch for. The third and final fault with the touch is the hard drive space which is virtually non existent. Personally, I have a lot of music and videos that I would like to store on my Ipod but the small 16gb hard drive just cant handle the amount of music and video I want to put on it, unlike the ipod classic which can hold up to 160gb, 10 times as much as the touch.
But if you want a flashy gadget that does have high level of technology and has a fairly long battery life, and are willing to compromise on hard drive space then this is the by far the MP3 player for you, however, if space is essential for you, then the Ipod classic is the ideal MP3 player that is also easy to use.

Advantages: Very slim design, superb visuals, built-in wifi with full web, jailbreak to increase functionality Disadvantages: Isn't the BEST sound, but that's being very picky!
Advantages: Looks great, accompanying software is easy to use, music quality is brilliant Disadvantages: Screen tilting can be a little oversensitive, no cut and paste (yet), quite expensive

Review of Apple iPod touch 16 GB
Advantages: Has games that can be played, and has access to the internet. Disadvantages: Since it is a touch screen it is kind of hard to keep it in my pocket cause it changes on its own.
