the apple ipod touch 32GB is the best value for money in my eyes when it comes to versitility, durability and capacity although the capacity is put to shame by that of the ipod video which has about 100GB it is still plenty of space for all your application, music and video needs.
versitility: the ipod touch contains an itunes app store with over 10,000 application to do anything form straightening a picture to practising guitar in cramped conditions, but if your not into those it also has thousands more practical apps such as a mobile internet browser and a scientific calculator.
durability: I personaly have an ipod touch and form the time i got it i must have dropped it at least 20 times on concrete and stone floors until I finally made the clever descision to just buy a case but before that i found that the ipod touch can take an extreme amount of damage and still look in mint condition and more importantly work as if it was brand new of the shelf
Capacity: As I have mentioned i have an ipod touch and in my opinion 32GB may even be too much as i have about 10-15GB of free space that i find difficult to use up at any one time but if you like your music and movies this is the thing for you
