Apple Ipod Touch. 3rd Generation. 32GB memory. With shiny metal back with Apple logo. Standard Applications are Voice memos, brilliant to record things you need to remember or need to revise for an exam. Youtube, notes, which is perfect for writing down your to do list, or shopping list., "Nike and ipod" which can be used with nike sensor for workout routines and to track progress etc,, Maps, to lookout where you are and find other places, stocks, to look at stock exchange etc. Can zoom in and out of pictures and websites by pinching the screen

It is a very high quality piece of kit. The touch screen is very easy to use and is really responsive, you forget its a touch screen and using it becomes second nature very quickly.

*The Music *

When music is put onto the ipod via itunes on your pc/mac, if all named right the ipod will separate it into Genreas, artists, albums, and playlists and just lists all of your songs in alphabetical order if you wish. There is the ability to shuffle songs, as was with the older ipods.
It also displays album art work.
scrolling through the music is very simple.

*Apps*

There are a range of applications that can be downloaded from itunes app store, there are a lot of good free ones. You can scroll scross screens looking at applications, and can be deleted straight from the ipod by holding the main button down until Xs appear on the application buttons and can delete as you like.

*Web Browsing*

The ipod is able to connect to WIFI in public placed, and to a network at home.
Safari which is the browser on the ipod is easy to use, it displays the sites clearly, and lets you type URLS in easily as the keyboard that is displayed is easy to use, even with larger fingers. Whilst connected to the internet you are able to access itunes store from your ipod and add applications stright onto it without needing a computer.

*In General*

Generally, nativating through the ipod is really simple, and becomes so easy very quickly. You dont have to be a boffin to use it and can become part of everyday life. Screen quality is very good and clear, looking at pictures on the ipod is better than you would expect and the zoom is very useful. The 32 GB is more than enough memory for about 100 albums, and more. If you are into your music, this mamory is adequate, however if you only listen to a few albums or the odd song, i would say that this isnt the best ipod as it would be a lot of wasted memnory, but it is always good to have it, you can fill it up with apps picture and videos!
You can put so much on this ipod, that you will never be bored, perfect for long journeys and for doing day to day tasks.

However, as you update your ipod, Apple seem to like to take away cetain functions without telling you. For example, there used to be full bluetooth on the ipod touch, [but as it was updated, apple took away the ability, and made it so the bluetooth only worked with headsets and not other devices
