I am a UK citizen and have a keen interest in computing and the internet. I have reviews published and regularily complete caio surveys although for the past few months have not received any money for completed surveys so am loosing interest in caio.

I have owned this since before Christmas 2008. The packaging was minimal and the design of the Apple Ipod touch 8Gb is breathtaking. Beautiful.
The docking is identical to previous generations of Ipod so can be used with any of your previous connectivity and charging docking solutions. The great gui and human interface via the touch screen is innovative and market leading.
However, finding your way about and updating via the Apple site takes a few moments to get your head around. Just take your time and enjoy the experience.
There are speakers in the case so for occasional use you can listen without earphones. There is a mini jack for connection to systems that do not support the Ipod dock. Aftermarket accessories are available for this like cases and skins.
I would recommend this to anyone. With Wi-Fi you can connect directly to the internet via a Wi-Fi broadband or cable router, or via many of the Wi-Fi internet providers in public places.

Advantages: Wireless Internet, Fun free games, great storage, beauty and a whole lot of fun! Disadvantages: Shortish battery life and you can only charge it through your computer

Advantages: Amazing for Mp3/Mp4 functions and amazing for gamily. Range of features are brilliant!!! Disadvantages: the speaker is a very poor addition to the 2g ipod touch, very tinny
