The iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8gb is an all round useful piece of equipment, from listening to music, to surfing the net, with useful apps, it makes a great gift. it also has built in speakers you do not need to carry the headphones if you dont want to. it also has a very reasonable price and is very compact so you can take it anywhere . the only disadvantages that i have seen is the sliding bars (e.g. brightness) are very hard to move and the battery doesnt last for very long. a good point about it is thawt the screen is virtualy impossible to scratch.The bottom line is the second-generation iPod Touch includes features that are light-years ahead of the competition, its design has improved, and its price has finally come down to earth.

Advantages: Amazing for Mp3/Mp4 functions and amazing for gamily. Range of features are brilliant!!! Disadvantages: the speaker is a very poor addition to the 2g ipod touch, very tinny
