Well it is basically a power adapter for use with all of the famous iPODS that everybody seems to have. And it is so unbelievably convenient for charging them, whether you are at home, on the road, or whenever your iPod is not connected to a computer. All you have to do is simply plug the adapter into a wall outlet and connect to your iPod for recharging - and it is quite quick as well. Advantages: Universal usage; affordable; multi-purpose; well-designed

...support on the wire near the computer plug meaning the copper inside the wire's insulation can bend and break easily. I had had mine for a little over a year. I was not willing to shell out £30 on the net for another poorly designed adapter, so I went to my local electronics store and came across this universal adapter. The Trust Universal Adapter truly is universal. It comes with a wire to which you can connect one of 6 notebook plugs or 9 other connectors for most phone models or iPod. These attach to another wire which can be attached to the main box, meaning you can charge your mobile or iPod while using it to power your laptop. One of the 6 notebook connectors should work with the vast majority of notebook models, even if not specified (you can always email customer support and enquire beforehand). Advantages: Same cable used for data transfer

...Well you can't get very far without the power adaptor, so thought it deserved a review... The good thing about this, is it uses the same cable that connects to your PC (the firewire cable...like a standard USB cable, but much quicker) and you just plug it into the top of the adaptor, and the adaptor goes straight into the mains. Viola! It takes approx 4 hours to fully charge the iPod, however, a quick 1 hour charge will fill approx 80% of the iPods battery (100% charge = approx 8 hours playtime). Unfortunately, the cable doesn't come with the power supply, but you are supplied with one when you first purchase the iPod, but they can easily be picked up from any Apple supplier. The two prongs on the front fold away into the adaptor, so all your left with is a nice neat "box" measuring approx 1" x 2" x 2" ...and of course... Read review
