...re-write like this is that Microsoft have to try and meet the needs of a very wide range of people with very different skill sets, it is often said that over 90% of the users use less than 10% of the packages facilities. What this means is that striking a balance is never an easy task and I think in this case Microsoft have gone more towards the light or inexperienced user. Microsoft word is included in the lowest edition of office 2007 which costs around £100, however for other more advanced versions with more programmes on it it can cost up to several hundred. This really is just an additional cost for an unnecessary product. Reccomendations...
